I found a notebook with the same dimensions and it fit fine! Easy to zip shut when I put it in the main pocket. No problem there. I could get it into the laptop sleeve but it was a tight fit and since the notebook has the metal spiral on the side, it was tough to push it down all the way. I think an iPad would be easier to fit in the sleeve but it would still be a tight fit.
