@@johnnyg2389 its the same experience as base xbox 360 just didnt have enough hdmi ports on my old tv so used that and just kept it that way with my new tv even though there is enough. It does upscale it to 4k for some reason better than when i hook it straight to the tv.
Yeah every title was a big improvement of the anterior game I remember the first game and the improvements they had every year for example the Career mode,the customization, gameplay
This game was created in 2012 and was ahead of it's time. Even now it eats for breakfast newest UFC EA from what I saw. In THQ game: - power punches feels heavy and fast punches are lighter - punching after the KO - simulation mode which requires stamina control - very real looking KO's - cool stunned effect - individual style of fighter - set ups matter - the best grappling system ever in martial arts game to this day - cuts can lead to TKO - being good at this game was really a skill That's the greatest MMA game and EA can't even borrow from all that ideas
@@coypandora0795 Where is Pride Mode, Pride Rules, or Pride Roster in the newer games? My understanding was that you can't do leg kick tko's or break your opponents legs in the UFC games. Besides those, there are many other things that the THQ games did just plain better than EA.

AWESOME!!! Loved this game and still do! Every friday night, finish work, pop to the shop the get some beers, then off to James' place to sit down to a UFC Undisputed 3 tournament. Winner takes the pot and great times had
I remember the day I bought this game when it came out and I knocked my brother out with the first hit with Don Frye lol fucking loved this mode so much
EA has GOTTA take notes for how the clinch initiation works in this game if they're looking to improve the grappling for the next game. Loved the way it transitioned.
What I love about UFC Undisputed 3 is that EVERY fighter is absolutely unique, and that a fight is literally a CHESSMATCH when every punch counts. Playing UFC Undisputed 3 gave me much more emotions that EA UFC games. When EA UFC was released I thought whaaat every damn fighter has the same moves, punches and kicks. Boring.
I was about to say......most everybody talked major shit about Undisputed 3 when it was relevant and now that we seen what EA had to offer now everybody LOVES Undisputed 3 lol! Better late than never I suppose
@@BigmanDogs I believe it, as it should have, but people on the Undisputed message board ate that game alive, talked like it was the worst game ever. I think it took EA attempting to make a few games before people realized just how good we had it
@James Ervin Man mine too, I almost pissed my pants when they first showed us they were adding Pride mode, cuz I was a diehard Pride fan, went to great lengths to buy every single Pride DVD I could find whenever I was in Best Buy or I would search on Ebay, but I was hooked on it so just the thought of playing Pride mode had me going crazy. Once it came out I couldn't put it down and I even still play it today since it's still the best MMA game almost 10 years later
A good addition for stand and bang would be when you knocked someone down, they should have to do a mini game or something to get up before a ten count
He has alot of great older videos as well... Sometimes just love watching this game to switch it up because I can't play it anymore. Wish it was backwards compatible
Soooo many memories of playing with the bros. I definitely appreciate this video. I wish ufc 4 would allow pride it was definitely a fun mode. I also wish you can change the hud with health like ufc undisputed.

@ryukenb2k its a joke lol. EA refuses to take notes or learn from anyone where the bar has already been set they like to "pioneer." Which doesn't work for them if you really look at it all they have is good graphics engines but when you start to dig into the games they make directly, they're hot trash. How can you miss all the groundwork that undisputed set for you? The structure of their games dont show passion just a cash grabbing attitude. They can do better but they won't.
UFC 2010 and UFC undisputed 3 were great. UFC 3 could have been better if the career was slightly more polished. I'd say those 3 games are the best out of all the UFC games
I have him but for some reason he and all the other DLC fighters are stuck at having "1" rating out of 100 and get KOed in like 2 strikes. So basically I don't have him either.
That's the ONE option setting I wish EA would give us in UFC 4: The SIMULATION setting, where all strikes and grappling techniques do more damage; but cost more stamina. Hopefully there's still time to implement this feature into UFC. 🙏 Adding this setting to UFC 4 would really make every match intense, as one well-timed strike is all it would take to end the Fight.
I agree man I think EA just tried to rip off THQ ufc model and messed up royally! They should have kept there style ie ea mma but with ufc roster. With obvious improvements over the years that game could have been amazing.

Yeah, I was hoping they add a few mechanics from UFC undisputed 3 but we just get the same game as UFC 3 with a new clinch mechanics and a few new maps/cutscenes. Guess EA never change...
I used to love the THQ/Zuffa UFC games...I went to GameStop for an old copy bout year or more ago still wanted 20 bucks for it.. it's still holding value
Still have UFC Mixed Weight Events & Pride Tourneys just about every weekend. Game is so much more fun than the EA Ones. All a New Edition would need is some new Moves, striking while moving updated and an updated Roster. Oh and expand the MAX CAFS, I filled that thing along time ago.

Wasn’t a fan of ufc at the time that this came out but I know see why it’s a fan favorite beautiful gameplay! Entrances ground game just looks so fun to play
What I want to see in the next ufc game for career mode is to do mainly with the starting over a fighters career record and skills I'd like an option to take control of a fighter with there skillset, record, ranking etc and continue there career
And fix the retirement stuff like if I fight like khabib I shouldn't have the same damage level as if I brawl like Robbie lawler did with Rory, Hendricks, condit, Matt brown, etc
I'm bored of ufc 3 too and I just played ufc 2 again. I have to say I miss a lot of things the game had. Knockouts like how they fell stiff, unlike ufc 3 where you know all the KO animations.
I have to respectfully disagree with you.....I don't feel that remastering this game would tarnish the nostalgia of this game. It still holds up really well today, I feel that it far surpasses any other MMA game as a complete package. Sure, EA UFC 3 is a much better looking game......but other than having a huge edge in the graphics department, it really doesn't surpass Undisputed 3 in any other categories except for the footwork animations. As sad as it is, an almost 8 year old game absolutely wipes the floor with the latest MMA game. I dont even need an updated roster, I love having the fighters of yesterday playable, just need it polished up a little and it would be even more enjoyable. I've tried my very best to support EA UFC but it's hard to when they are taking the tiniest baby steps in between each new game and cant even implement elements from Undisputed 3 that most of us want in an MMA game.

One could definitely argue that EA ufc 3 is a better game . I believe this is the better game . A much deeper and immersive experience with more to do in my opinion. It’s crazy how these animations look as good if not better than what we have now
I just played UFC 3 and have been disconnected from EA for no reason. Three times in a row. My session had green bars too. What the heck EA!!! I lost 3 out of my first five fights because I lost connection with EA. So I appreciate being able to watch a properly made game in action!!! If anyone else has this issue please comment!
