As one the two people that creates the colourstories for Glaminatrix, I'm so glad I 'get you' 🤣🥰 thank you so much for swatching our palette and showing our brand some love ❤️
@@laurab7731 Yay! You made my year! It’s so difficult finding indie brands that can accommodate us here! So looking forward to placing and receiving my order. Thank you for responding 🥰
I agree! If it weren't for indie eyeshadow brands like Odens Eye and Unearthly cosmetics, I would never buy eyeshadow. ❤ And shout out to SG, I am waiting on my big orders from the recent sales!
Would love to see some looks with these palettes instead of just swatches. Please feature more indie on your channel Morgan! Would love to see it ❤. I’m definitely more into indie these days instead of mainstream.
I just recently ordered my first Oden's Eye palette and it should be delivered soon.. I'm so excited! You and Heather Austin have introduced me to so many indie brands this past year, thank you!! 💚
Ohhh some of those pallets are beautiful ! Yes it's time to get a couple of those. I have been SO SO BORED with all the shades of pink constantly. I don't care if its the best quality on the planet. I have it. I have it over n over. These look refreshing, thanx for this review.
Ive been more interested in indie lately. More creative color stories, more interesting shimmers, glitters and multichromes. So glad you did this video!
The Nightshade palette is a great palette, I think they searched wonky bc it was your non dominant hand. Those Sydney Grace palettes are GORGEOUS 😍😍 glamamatrix is also coming out with beautiful palettes, I still wanna get the Nearly Natural palette but now I wanna get this new one too! I love it when you do Swatch & Sip!!
i can’t wait for the glaminatrix palette to release this weekend!!! i tried to get the sydney grace palettes, but they sold out SOOOO FAST!!!! i also have the gourmande girls nightshade and fantasy cosmetica’s fighter palettes on my wishlist as well. i loveeee indie brands with my entire heart!!! 😍😍😍
Maybe that why I never noticed a lack of new eye shadow palettes, because I buy lots of Indie palettes. Ace Beaute's Calla and Fantasy Cosmetic's Fighter palettes look very similar. Love GLaminatrix's eye shadows! I brought the Sydney Grace Raspberry palette! It kinda reminded of ND Dream.
I would love to see videos with the Glaminatrix and Nightshade palettes! Even if they're just short videos doing a couple of looks that would be awesome!
One, I absolutely love your channel and makeup content! Two, am I crazy or doesn't SG make multichromes and duochromes and stunning ones at that? I have heard a few influencers say that "Even though SG doesnt make multichrome, etc.." but I thought they did? Anyway, wonderful swatch and sio with Indie Brands!
Good afternoon Morgan!!! Eeekkk! I canr wait to hear your thoughts. I ordered the new Sydney Grace palettes, but I've got Fantasy Cosmetica, Gourmande Girls, Glaminatrix Cosmetics, oh gosh, and so many more on my list!! I cant wait for spooky holiday season!!!!! 😊💛💚🧡🤎🩷💙💜
That was really fun, Morgan, thank you!! Heaven and Earth is on its way to me, as i felt the same as you. Definitely going to explore more of these brands..
Begonia looks like Give Me Glow Vintage Rose. Flora reminds me of Naked Honey. Fleur kinda reminds me of Naked Ultraviolet. I bought the Nightshade the other day. I want the Sydney Grace ones and Fantasy Cosmetica.
I have a very cool skin tone. I’ve just learned about several Indi companies recently! So I’ve ordered five new palettes after a space of ordering none for a long time. My choices were Barbie Glamlite and Strawberry Shortcake from Glamlite (I might wind up with enough pink shadows); Euphoric Dreams from BellaBeautebar; Nightshade from GourmandGirls; and It’s My Pleasure and blushes from ColourPop. I do want to collect eyeshadows for each of my primary clothing wardrobe colors for Winter too.
I love the new Sydney Grace Blessed pallet with Glitzy Fritzy. The mattes are perfect for the shimmers. The BFF Is a gorgeous silver and Shy Guy is a blue/ purple duochrome which is stunning. The light shades were meant to assist in blending the edges. The pallet leans cool toned, which I love. Glitzy Fritzy has a ton of looks on her channel,
Shout out to the indie brands! ❤ I discovered indie brands last year, and I’ve now completely fallen down the rabbit hole, but I am not mad about it at all. The shadow qualities and the color stories are just *chef’s kiss*
Not in your video, but I recently discovered Lethal cosmetics and I'm obsessed. I bought their Wildflower/Nightflower bundle as I love purples, pinks,a nd blues and used them to create a stunning look for the Barbie movie :)
Your eye look here is stunning! I started following you when your channel was getting started and it was because of your artistry doing beautiful eye looks. I’d love to see more videos sharing eye look tutorials, if possible.
I just got the Ensley Reign Flower Moon palette and the shimmers are just buttery and gorgeous😍 wish that brand got a bit more attention from the community 🎉❤
I loveeee Indie Brands for more exciting color stories or duochrome / multichrome finishes … Stained Glass Shadows via Clionadh Cosmetics or the gorgeous single shadows Oden’s Eye launched this year that are all so beautiful and special … I love products that are unique or innovative or just wow worthy 🙌🏼
We all love your knowledge and skill set. Would you please try swatching on the INNER ARM? I think they would swatch better because the skin there is closer in tone and texture to the skin on the eyelid and we would get a closer approximation of what it could possibly look like.
I have no talent when it comes to neutral looks... I'm always bright and bold with my eyeshadow. But... the Sydney Grace palettes make me want play around with neutral looks. Waiting for holiday releases to drop and I'm really hoping some fun stuff comes out from indie and main stream! Great video!
Please consider reviewing Bella Beaute Bar - their glam style palette (silver, pinks etc) seems like a great Indi version of ND glam and their pastel garden palette seems so creative!
The Begonia palette by AceBeauté always reminded me of Melt's Gemini♊️. I know Melt's got so-so reviews, but personally.. I freaking love it. I get the most beautiful peachy/rosy smokey eye with a green lower lash and it's now one of my most favorite looks to create. I always get comments or questions about it when I wear it. Anyway, my love for Gemini♊️ is why I got the one from AceBeauté. I haven't used it yet, so I can't attest to the quality, but I mostly wanted it in order to use Ace's as like a companion or an extension to Melt's color story in Gemini♊️.
The Nightshade palette looks like Mardi Gras for the dead. 😂 I love it. Speaking of Terra Moon, did you grab Mocha Twilight? If not, I think you'd like it.
Hi Morgan, You influenced me. 🤣 I saw that beautiful look on your eyes and ordered the Ace Beauty Calla palette today. 😊 This will be my first Ace Beauty palette.
ooh i love the idea of this video! maybe a cool idea (if you would be open to it of course) might be “if you like x… you might like this indie brand!” like for example “if you like neutrals you might like sydney grace” and “if you like sparkly shimmers, you might like odens eye”!
Weird, I love the ace beaute eyeshadow formula since it was upgraded or whatever they call it lol. They're always packed with pigments, buildable and bendable imo.
I am with you on Glaminatrix Sugar & Spice. Their last few palettes have been so cute. I almost bought the nearly neutral palette. I just didn’t need that particular color story. This latest one is a bit more unique to my collection. I am trying to NOT buy eye shadow. This one is really cute, though.
I love indie brands ❤ would love to see you feature them more! I am however glad I never bought a Sydney Grace palette because I would have been disappointed by the lack of glitzy shimmers. There was a time when everyone was raving about SG, no one mentioned there are no glitzy shades, dodged a bullet there.
Sydney grace has some pretty multichromes, both in pan and cream formulas, as well as loose powder pigments that are beautiful. They are sold individually, as are most of their products. Palettes are only one of their products! Affordable, too! 😁
The only people I see hyping Gourmand Girls are people who have a code and got the items in PR. The shades look pretty in pan but those swatches don’t justify the price (to me). I love you Morgan and I appreciate your excitement. It’s nice to see and discover new makeup. But yeah: that’s my opinion on that brand.
I bought 4 pallet from the SG sale for $8/piece. That’s a steal! They are her older ones but I don’t care! I do want that blue pallet but it was already out of stock when I looked. Shucks.
Glaminatrix is awesome. I get so much fallout w/Sydney Grace. Any primer suggestions? Or application? I mean I can make glamshop work and those are dusty.
Mainstream is paying more attention to cream blush, lip tints all in pink... and light coverage foundation... which to everyone else to loves it, good for y'all but... I'm honestly bored and sick of it. I been into the indie brands for eyeshadow, and been getting more into color... who am i???? Maybe cuz of the spring/summer need for color. 😂
