I think it depends what boredom means to the person. It is important to try to figure if your activities are your addiction. Are you fighting boredom with dear life? But mind you. There is also such a thing as boreout which is opposite from burnout. If you underuse your skills, your mind and body it can impact you negatively. I never had a burnout before getting sick but a boreout. Yes you have to accept when you cannot do certain things and you domt have to be busy all the time. But I am convinced that doing little things troughout the day that bring you joy will help you further than trying to accept boredom troughout the day. I notice that even if i have a bit more symptoms after i still can do more the week after. I still feel happier and content

Yes the detox is very important. Even if it feels really uncomfortable. But I realize that I'm doing much better with boredom. But it takes a lot of practice. Thanks for the reminder Daniel. We are so trained to always do and not being. It's an addiction indeed.

Thanks Daniel for this important topic🙏 Yeah..as with everything I think it's about balance...Doing and Non-Doing..I recognized it takes a little time to really enjoy the boredom when we're so used to keep us busy in our everyday modern lifes...But once the need for busyness and the associated restlessness settles down boredom becomes a pure joy and really nurturing. And we do feel when it's enough and it's time to move on... A quote which I relly like comes to my mind: "Die tiefe Langeweile ist der Traumvogel, der das Ei der Erfahrung ausbrütet." (Walter Benjamin) Cheers 🌞

@@jessicanilsson5941 hi Jessica, I don't think I can help you this way via the comment section. You have lots of questions and need specific help, coaching and trauma work. I would recommend the release program and an additional somatic practitioner to help you with your trauma.

I am tired, exhausting and bored because i want to make progress 😢😢😢. This pressure of being stuck in bed is so aweful. Oh and i forgot if you are bored and having energy then your mind is running 1000miles per hour. So is it not better doing something useful instead of having racing stupid thoughts?

Isn’t it exactly true for mind body symptoms? Allowing to feel the pain and hidden emotions?
