What I've always asked myself: why is it, that for some people emotions/stressors finally rise to the surface giving you symptoms and giving the opportunity to heal them, while other people go ALL their lifes till dying without having faced them. I know so many old people that are clearly coping 24/7 and they have no problems with that (they may have some related issues like back pain or joint pain, but rarely symptoms like we do). Sure, they are stressed and not properly enjoying life, but their brain never created symptoms to protect them, because the emotions simply never moved to the surface making the limbic brain freak out. But why does that differ from person to person?

Let them do a Vipassana meditation week and wait for what happens. But would you really like for them to get symptoms? My grandfather died one week after his retirement from a heart attack. Not everyone can make it in this phase and that's okay as well. Otherwise society would breakdown, we can be critical to society, but we don't want everyone to collapse.

My dad has had migraines all his life, also mindbody. I see the emotional brain as a big pressure barrel, in a huge cfs crash the barrel basically explodes. Brain retraining would build up the barrel slowly.. but every trigger breaks it down again. Releasing emotions will let go of all the pressure and in the end you don’t even need a barrel anymore. A lot of people have a barrel showing cracks, but it never breaks. They don’t feel good, or happy, or energized but they don’t know different. I know so many people who say their energy got shit after 30… I mean..
@leanderlehmann

@@releasecfs I didn't mean that in a critical way at all... I am happy for those who manage to release without symptoms, or even for those who don't ever release at all, and go on their way. True chronic fatigue is not emotional or psychological. We need to quit mixing apples with oranges. Mine came from my gut being destroyed, bombarded with infested food for 6 weeks during a work visit in Mexico. Whatever was in the food water there broke down my gut barrier and defense mechanisms and then had an open path to penetrate into my blood and nervous system. My kidneys were affected, my liver, my pancreas, my nerves.., For people like me whose bodies had to fight extreme attacks from pathogens, it is very bad to see people speak as if this was some mind controlled issue. For the real cfs patients, the physical cfs patients, it is a slap in the face. Our lives are hard enough as they are, with this crap disease, in my case thanks to some aholes poisoning me with infested food and destroying my gut.

Most people in the CFS space on RU-vid and social media are grifters. Raylene is a good example as most the guests just promote coaching or expensive programs without really giving any useful info on healing; just a dangling carrot. @releasecfs
@releasecfs 6 дней назад
Yes the CFS healing community is a big business. I don't agree with many things in it. But when it comes to RU-vid, It's hard to give everything away for free like I used to do for example. I did offer some free anger release meditations in the past and people dived in without the necessary preparation, that backfired hard on me as people started blaming me. So it's a grey area where you give information and at the same time you need to get something back to earn money. The advantage for me is that I now work with mostly committed clients and that's why I can achieve better results for them.

I misunderstood you, but maybe it helps nevertheless what I wrote: Are you maybe emotionally frozen? Go with your mind/attention into your body, not to the outward, feel as if your mind treats your baby body with the love of a mother. There is a concept of Elaine Aaron, I think, about the highly sensitive person, that we are grown ups in a body of a toddler, she meant babies/toddlers percieve every thing in a very strong way, they have strong feelings; I personally have enormous problems to allow the intensity of my feelings, since childhood days, they kill me, I am afraid of losing consciousness, since it happened when I was 7 yo and I fell on a cobbled road on my face. I woke up on the couch of my grandfather and did not know what had happened, only later I remembered that I had fallen down on that road in the village of my grandfather and the pastor's wife came to me and asked what had happened and I told her and then the thread teared. I do not know how I had come to my grandfathers house. Writing this I understand I've had a problem with safety. Instead of being grateful that everything went right in that situation I accuse God and my parents, esp. my mother, not giving enough safety to me, that's it: I never felt safe. I've always had a fear deep inside although others always encouraged me and I managed situations well. I think I have not been in my body but always being outwardly striving to be as the others doing things as the others --- Give your body the warmth of motherly love and care. Do you feel your breath growing to a deep, slow breath ? I feel it this way. Do you feel safety? I do although I have in the background a dark colour-feeling (dark brown). I am a synaestetic person, I feel colours and structures about people or situations. You are suffering from being alone if I understand it right. I often pray to God for anything that worrys me. But I have to say when I wrote down about the situation when I was 7 I allowed my strong feelings to be as intense as they are. This is the best, although I am afraid but I try to trust that nothing bad will happen. I have lost the basic sense of trust because I nearly every year since my 3rd or 4 th year of my childhood had an accident. My problem has always been that I was very closed because I perceived already as a child that others would not understand me and my parents had not spoken about thei weaknesses either. My mother had often been busy and active in outward things. But I once experienced something very good: I had a painful treatment at the dentist as an adult in 2009. At the first appointment I was anxious, at the second one I had decided to be open and to face the situation, not to be afraid ( but I trusted to be safe in God) I had been able to bear the pain. The dentist was astonished about my calm behaviour. So to face the situation and to express what is inside of you---this is the way to become healthy again. But I think we have to learn to accept our limits, we need to withdraw from outside stimulations in order to not feel a stimulous overload. I am sorry for this chaos. I hope something can help you. Do not give way to despair but express yourself as you did here. I wish you all the best. Astrid from Berlin (Germany)

ultimately I think it comes down to safety. if you think that a naturopathic remedy will cure you and you no longer feel unsafe then it likely works. For some of us though the fear of fear is what keeps the pattern going especially if you have developmental trauma and so for those of us I think learning not to be scared of feelings or sensations is key or at least allowing the fear and not being scared of it. I'm a master at fear of fear.. But it's slowly improving as I learn to stay with myself and stop dissociating whenever I feel something I don't like. I'm getting glimpses of a quiet mind which comes and goes but it's truly a wonder to feel even a tiny amount of peace after 50+ of intense stress.

I can speak from my experience that I've found underneath my fear whole parts of my self that were suppressed, parts that carried a tremendous amount of pain. When you're able to move beneath the fear into the parts of you that carry pain (and/or other feelings like shame and loneliness and self-hatred), and reconnect with them and hold them and love them, the fear will quiet down. But in order to get there, the fear must first be fully accepted and embraced and sat with, because those parts of us are speaking through it. They're terrified because they've been abandoned, usually by our parents when we were children, but also by us as adults, because the pain (or shame or other dark feelings) were too much for us to carry by ourselves when we were young and so we abandoned them out of necessity. But love finds a way, and when love opens you up to those parts of yourself, and they experience your love for them, they will heal and experience peace.

I think the chronic illnesses come when the body cannot take it anymore. It reacts to the sum of our stressors. You might have exposure to mold at home, a bad boss, troubles with your kids and trauma/unreleased emotions and you still function OK. But then Covid enters, or some other virus or lay offs at work or other stressor. And that breaks the camels back. Your autonomus nervous system gives up and start giving you a lot of symptoms. Most people then focus on that latest problem, the virus or whatever, because they want their old life back. That usually does not help. Some may get well when they get rid of for example mold. Then they can come under the treashold and get well. But many, or even most, of us have childhood trauma as a major contributor to our stressload and therefore releasing emotions is often a great way to heal. Also other stressors can come and go during your life (toxins, viruses, grief etc) and you are still just one stressor away from getting a relaps or some other desease. But once you are done with Childhood Trauma, it will not come back. So I would say there are many ways to heal in the short-medium timeframe but only one that will last a lifetime. But don’t underestimate the value of just getting well for a few years! Raising your kids without being bedbound, or getting your finances back on track is also valuable!

I was diagnosed 24 years ago and only in the last 2 years have I made any significant headway toward recovery. Most of those years were spent fighting the illness. Completely futile but I did not better. Recovery started when I embraced surrender and emotional release. Things I am still working on. I am somewhere in the middle stages of recovery. My question has to do with the environment I have been unwell in, for so long. To cope with benig severely sick I learnt to avoid certain things, adopted cautions and strong aversions. Only doing what was essential. I am finding that being in the same environment and needing to doing those things that there is great deal of resistance. For instance, there is ease in reading outside away from home rather than at home. I’m in a stressful life situation which it’s impossible to remove myself from because it involves my children. I did ANS rewire but hardly ever did the stop process. I didn’t like it and felt like I’d have to do it all day every day as I had so many negative thoughts. I’m in a much different place now- healing in a more attuned way

Hey everyone. I did Lightning Process back in 2015 and it has totally transformed my life for the better. Like changed my life radically. When I went into the course, I was aware that some people didn't get results, and I was afraid of this, and worried it would be me too. I saw a post on the internet about someone who didn't get good results straight away, who struggled with it, but he persisted and kept learning, getting help etc until he'd worked out how to make it work for him. I went into the LP course with this in mind, that no matter what happened, I would persist and not give up on working it out until it worked for me. The science behind it are universal so it's not to say that LP is the only way to implement it, however I found a great practitioner and applied myself to it consistently over about four years. Now, after living nearly ten years with wellness, my life is very different and all of my dreams have come true - participating in sports, working in the aerospace industry, running my own business, purchasing property, I have just published a book. I kept getting ongoing coaching from my practitioner when new issues cropped up, attended the LP refresher courses every year, and studied everything I could about the science behind LP from many other sources, including sports psychology. I still get top ups by watching Phil's videos and attending LP fun runs which my practitioner organises. There had been trauma in my childhood which I think was the initial cause of my health issues, and I used good quality healing therapies over time for this as well. I've never managed to quite attain 100% recovery, it's close to 95% though, and I live a full life with everything I could ask for. Throwing myself into all this consistently for some years has really worked for me. I share my experience with love to all and hope this may help someone. Cheers, Moni

Except if you don't have parents to move back in with. Then what?

Then this scenario is obviously not your scenario
