AirTel P/E was 44 one year ago now it is 75. No value added to the company but price increased. Sun Pharma > P/E ratio just doubled in one year. Coal India > P/E ratio just doubled. Same scenario for most of the stocks. All stocks are at the highest P/E ratio. If the P/E ratio is 20 we can expect a growth of 5% annually. For P/E ratio of 70 or 80 we can expect a decline in stock price up to 40%. Stock price has increased from its last year position is just your luck. but we can not depends only on luck. Please explain how much the companies listed in your index made profit in term of percentage to the stock price.

Sorry Coal India Limited is still at good valuation. P/E = 8 and Price/Book = 4. But price may fall down due to market sentiment that the price went up in past 6 months.
