I don’t know why all the 1 minute videos of cold starts have 40k views and this has 1k. Took me too long to find an actual Borla exhaust video with driving. This video had it all. Start up, driving, multiple camera angles including exhaust closeup. Thank you.
I have a sport hatchback and I like how this sounds. I was debating getting this or doing a muffler and res delete since they sound similar. Just 2 very different prices.
Cool. You won't get the same result with a straight pipe. While the Borla is a free flow exhaust it is carefully designed to be good sounding in any situation (it rumbles and is not very loud under light acceleration, if you step hard on it and get to high rpm it si sporty and still refined). You don't have drone which I am afraid you won't be able to avoid with a straight pipe. Definitely it is way cheaper to just delete de muffler and resonator.
Just installed this. Only sounds nice and loud during cold start. Otherwise it's just slightly louder than stock. A little disappointed, was expecting more. Guess I'll have to upgrade dp and fp for the sound I want.
Salut, per total esti multumit de ea dupa 2 ani? E deranjant acel fluierit? Am tot citit ca ar avea problema asta borla la rpm 5500 si mai mult. Poti sa mi dai mai multe detalii pe instagram/mail ? Mai eram curios de un anumit aspect
@@liviupopescu1027 se aude destul de placut, adica nici exagerat incat sa sune ca o drujba, dar nici prea gros. Sunt curios cum te impaci cu ea la drum lung ?
@@liviupopescu1027 yes its from the exhaust i have the same and it starts to whistle after 5000rpm full throttle on gaspedal. I talked to borla about this they sent me a new exhaust and the same thing happened as the old one.
@@Hasskii I always thought that the noise is coming from the turbo. For my ears, it doesn't seem to come from the exhaust, but more from the engine compartment.
I never did a before and after dyno test. As this is a free flow exhaust, the engine should breathe better and some HP gains are expected. But nothing too spectacular. Maybe 5-10HP at high RPM. There are other restrictive parts in the exhaust system anyway (downpipe, CAT, GPF, front pipe). The sound, looks and durability are the main benefits of the aftermarket cat-back exhausts. If you want to add more hp, a tuned ECU map would provide more gains and way cheaper.

@@mihneabatala6988 i-am intrebat inainte daca se pierde garantia si au zis ca nu. La ei am montat-o. Acum e greu de spus ce ar fi daca ai vreo problema. Sistemele astea se vand cu miile in US...
