This was great. I’m gonna be 42 years old this year. Lol In my grandmas home we didn’t have pics of Jesus, although she was Christian. We had pics of woody Hayes and Archie. This is how I grew up. I still have my grandmas pic of woody. I have a helmet that Archie autographed while he was associate athletic director. I picked it up at his office. I felt like o was in the presence of a god. I don’t care. That’s what Archie is to me.

To the person making the comments about Walter Payton - I think Walter Payton was absolutely great too. That being said this video is about Archie Griffin and his great accomplishments. I think someone can appreciate both running backs. No need to troll.

Archie had great strength and pretty good speed. He played his position very hard and as a member of a team, and did exactly what Coach Hayes wanted, on and off the field. That veer offense with Cornelius Green was killer. Probably Ohio State's best. team. If every Ohio State player had Archie's character, Ohio State would be a much better place. But that has not been the case.
