@@aaroncicaneseagreed, only songs I really care for on here are bow down and abstract art lol Machine was cool when it first came out but after you’ve heard it so many times it’s just the same thing over and over again for almost five minutes, Divergency is pretty lame and the rest are a bunch of mid ass new songs that are just ehh 🤷🏻♀️
Love BOO, but they definitely need a bass player. They were very professional with such a bad crowd. McKinney always make me laugh with his litte dance moves.
BORN OF OSIRIS : IS A BAND WITH A UNIQUE AND INNOVATIVE SOUND... YOU CAN NOTE THEY ARE MUSICIANS WITH A HIGH TECHNIQUE... AND THEY PERFORM IT VERY WELL LIVE... BUT THIS GREAT BAND IS FOR WAKE UP PEOPLE... THEIR SOUND IS THE DEPTH OF THEIR LETTERS ARE NOT UNDERSTOOD BY CLOSED MINDS, THE LIVING DEAD, THE EMPTY CONTAINERS LIKE THAT AUDIENCE... THEY ARE ON A HIGHER LEVEL... THE DEEP ELEVATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS... I WILL STAY FIRM ADMIRING THEIR TALENT AND LOVING HIS MUSIC... "OPEN YOUR MIND, THE POWER TO SEE BEYOND THE EARTHLY" "THREAT OF YOUR PRESENCE"
Born of Osiris unfortunately isn't that known in the Netherlands. It shows.... Playing shows like this for a band is really hard work when your experience with a crowd is very different. But, it also keeps your grounded. Good to have them be introduced to so many new people. They deserve it!
For all the people complaining about the crowd The crowd should enjoy themselves how they want. They aren’t obligated to like the band nor are they obligated to act in any particular way. The crowd was plenty supportive.
I will quit my job right now to become their bassist. It would be a dream come true. Also, have these people never heard of BOO?? They were playing nothing but bangers and getting almost no reaction from the crowd.
Someone told me that Lee has mentioned on his podcast that they’d like David to rejoin on the bass, until then I guess they’re doing backing track bass. It’s a shame but I saw them a couple of months ago and they were still amazing ❤❤❤ I was gona say you’d be required to use a pick but there is footage out there somewhere of David using fingers so i might be wrong
I'd only play anything with a pick. I respect bass players who learned playing the bass guitar finger style, but I used to be a guitar player and don't see the necessity to learn it. Especially in metal and Death Metal or -core..
@@williamhutton2126so.....do you do anything aside from sit and talk shit to people in the YT comment section? That's like the 3rd or 4rth comment dogging on someone on this video alone. What's the matter young man? Small Pee Pee? Taking it out on the world? Have you tried pulling on it??
If it was dark out side and the crowd was losing their minds. It would be one of the greatest recordings ever. The band was so tight and Killin it. Great show, just needed planing for recording
I just saw them in TN couple days ago and the crowd was way more energetic. I think they could feel it too, because they look like they had WAYYYY more fun than they do in this video.
My god that is the absolute worst crowd ive ever seen in my life 😂 it would make it so hard to perform. I now see why Winston from Parkway Drive always says "these things always work better when you guys have as much fun as you possibly can"
What is this death audience, people talk to each other 4m from WTF musicians?! Even on my couch I was more active! The band started the show with Bow Down, impossible to remain indifferent to it !
@riftsxp yep. Honestly that's all good and fine if they went forward and made decent material. However it's been just super lame since the discovery. Each album maybe had 1 or 2 decent songs off of it. That song "Divergency" is so terrible too I can't believe they are still playing it.
Yea The New Reign, Higher Place and The Discovery were a whole different band. Sucks the rest of the band was kind of in the party era while Jason was taking it seriously. I'd pay massive amounts of money to see the original lineup play The New Reign straight thru.
@@hyboirds1536 Yep, I was in a band that opened for them in that era -- chilled with them on their bus, and lemme tell you, some of those dudes partied hard. Lots of weed and adderall... among other things..
@@idiot_city5244I saw them live 10 years ago or so and they were one of the worst live bands I've ever seen. They were headlining and the 3 support bands all blew them off stage. They were soooo sloppy
0:55 Bow Down 3:22 Poster Child 8:02 Divergency 12:19 White Nile 16:09 Angel or Alien 20:30 Threat of Your Presence 24:21 Oathbreaker 28:24 Abstract Art 31:55 Machine
i think they should definitely get a bass player, not everything is about guitars and gives more substance to the music:c despite that good recording!🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
How tf do you go and watch that and stand so incredibly still... it's like a bunch of cattle staring blankly out into the pasture... I don't understand it. In my older age I'm not jumping into the pit and thrashing around like I did as a teenage, but come on man, show the band a little love, they are absolutely killing it for you!
As it seems, and from the comments, the crowd just do not know BOO that well, and it’s during the day probably an earlier slot, also I have partied with these fellows in Baltimore a few times and they are all top notch I bet it’s the lack of energy from both sides and wanting a bass player back or missing David.
@@AllShaaaallPerish That's weird since there's not a single song on their setlist from that album then, huh? Pretty sure by 'people' you just mean 'you'.
Everyone complaining about the crowd, the only who slightly rocks out in the band is Ronnie, the rest just stand their, also have the show is backing tracks, dunno why Joe is just hoping around instead actually playing the keyboard for a band that relies on it so heavily in their music?
As soon as I heard FUCKING BOW DOWN I was waiting for people to go wild! It’s not what it used to be I guess 😢people used to absolutely lose their shit!!!!
You will see this at a boo show still. All of the shows I’ve gone to the last 3 years go nuts. Maybe not a festival where they’re expecting Disturbed or some other big band to come out the entire performance
I feel like lee isn't really playing at all. His hands aren't where they should be most the time or he's taking his hands off when he should be playing. This set is so low energy.
Yeah, take it from the guy with one guitar video that shows he doesn't know how to play call out one of the best guitarists in the industry about where his fingers should be.
@@williamhutton2126 and yet, that's still more guitar videos than you. But, somehow you act like you're an authority on the subject. All I'm saying is that parts look out of sync and the set it low energy. Never said anything about my own ability. Or even Lee's ability for that matter.
@@Taquitos95 Oh, princess. That's because I'm not under the delusion that i CAN play the guitar. You really doubled down, huh? You literally said Lee wasn't playing at all. I merely pointed out that, given your lack of talent with said instrument, you're probably not the best person to be making those claims of a world class guitarist. Just like I wouldn't trust a preacher who looked up at the stars once to have an opinion on Neil DeGrasse Tyson's grasp on astrophysics.
From what I've seen, they struggle to play large parts of their music live. Which is a shame as they have some great music, but just goes to show how much editing in a studio can hide a bands capability of playing material.
He left the band a few years ago and they haven’t replaced him yet. It took them forever to replace Jason Richardson. They toured with just Lee on guitar live for years.
@@5secondsMrmarsh I'm glad i've seen them live with the first formation then but I met the bass player after the show, he gave me and other fans a kinda contemptuous and full of himself vibe.
Nah, unfortunately, bass players can just be replaced by a track in many modern bands. Periphery, Born Of Osiris, Northlane. There's gotta be loads more, but I'm blanking. Sadly, it's easy to just count it out these days.
