Born Of Osiris' House in Wheaton Illinois. Director: Andrew Pulaski Production Co.: Abstrakt Pictures -- NEXT SHOW: 4/09 - Columbus, OH @ Express Live! --
Michaelthe Cuntcrusher omfg I just had this same thought... as soon as I heard the music from The Discovery I remembered all the people I used to hang out with and shit... god. Everything has changed so much.
Andrew Coker Right? A lot of the kids I used to kick it with during the time when I listened to this band all turned out to be shitty people as time went by. Sucks.
Fernando Moreno yeah it also messes with their live performance. I've seen them live 3 times I think and honestly its always really bad. it's just chaotic and all over the place. the sounds never mesh well and usually one of more band members either mess up on timing or just screw up. Not saying I don't like them because I really enjoy their music. I'm just saying that maybe they should lay off the Mary Jane a little bit.. at least before they perform. Then again maybe I just got unlucky 3 times. idk
they may now, but there was a time where crack rock and shitty mids were in there lives, I know because I partied with them in milwuakee one time at a house party when they got done at the rave. I chilled with them for the whole night and Cameron losch is the funniest dude ever when hes all fuckered up! haha good times
Man. A bassist who has his own initial on his lampshade. A guitarist who breaks off the tab on his monster and doesn't turn the sharp metal part away from his lip. A guy with a painting just hanging in the air above his bed. Psychopaths sweat nervously in this house.
I love that Jason Richardson’s room is a mess and the rest are quite organized. He was the only member of the band with a put together life at the time
I agree dude. Still here, just recently added to my grog / smoke tab on disc. Best ep of Cribs imo. Awesome background music from their past albums. Good fucking time, band has aged well.
I remember 5 years ago, they were playing a show in my area, and my friend and I got vip passes and went backstage before the show to meet them and get pics with them. I was talking to Lee and mentioned their cribs video and asked if they still live there lol. He laughed and said they all live in different states now. He said he lives in Texas, Ronnie lives in Arizona, Joe lives in California. That was actually my second time meeting them and getting pics. They're all really decent guys. ❤
They were very nice to me too lol. I got that VIP pass thing too, and still have it haha. Around when they Remastered their first Album, at Cleveland, Ohio. Out all of them, I ended up talking mostly to the Drummer. He was happy to hear me all excited, and explaining why I like their band so much. I can rewatch the end of this video countless times, seeing him slay those drums.
But don't donate any LJN games. Except "Spiderman: Maximum Carnage". It's kind of decent BUT it has a Black Sabbath song on it!!! source: Cinemassacre/AVGN
On the other hand, this band is very inspirational. I love how they all live together not only as band members but as friends. Great home, great band. People need to appreciate what they do. This is a really nice life. Something worth attempting for.
In the area they live, this house has to be AT LEAST $750,000 probably more... Now split those payments between 6 people. So if they got a 30 year loan, with 4% interest, that's only around $700-$750 a month for each of them. That's not bad at all, and I guarantee they make enough for it. Congrats dudes you're really living the dream!
This has aged well! Dream house of my 20's and clearly an amazing pad to chill back then! WOuld be cool to see a 10 years later version!! :D Great time capsule, you guys are fucking legends!!!
+Levi Ackerman Jason is one of the greats. The Discovery will probably remain their most technical and best album they have because he left afterwards :(
SRBproducs I don't know all the details. I know Jason leaves/ gets kicked from bands quite a bit, I also know that BOO partied all the time and Jason hated it and they basically kicked him out over Christmas break and sent him his stuff in a trailer.
I just met these dudes yesterday, they have really changed my perspective on them. They were really cool to talk to. Very friendly and real nice. I like seeing that in music.
All songs in this video: 0:01 Shaping the masterpiece 0:08 Last Straw 0:46 Devastate 1:05 Follow The Signs 2:33 Behold 2:50 Automatic Motion 3:21 Dissimulation 4:40 Regenerate 5:26 Dissimulation (again) 6:03 Recreate 6:43 Ascension 7:15 Two Worlds Of Design 8:29 A Solution 8:47 Rosecrance (Different Album) 10:56 Empires Erased (Also on a Different Album) There, now only the dumbasses will ask what the songs in this video are.
Met David twice and he signed my ticket 1st time and took a pic with me second time - nice people in the band and I really wouldn't listen to any bullshit you hear!
There’s an alternate universe, where Jason and BoO parted ways in a healthy way. Talked the substance abuse topic, there’s no mutual agreement? It’s fine. We move on and wish the best. Years later, he’s invited as a feature for the new albums. You know they’re hanging around like good friends thanks by an Instagram post lol He still joining Chelsea Grin, where CG and BoO would even tour together at some point lol One of the “What if” from the genre lol It should’ve ended at least well, but the rest of the band managed so poorly the situation, with the money they owned him to sent all his stuff 4 days before Christmas (hey just like yesterday at the moment I’m writing this lmao) Almost all of us made really bad decisions or managed poorly some situations by immaturity entering our 20’s But oh well, that’s how you sometimes learn in the hard way if you even care about lol
They live together...that means they combine their income as far as the house goes. Not surprised that a successful band could collectively afford such a home.
Given that they aren't rich, they didn't buy it outright. With that in mind, an entire band going-in on the bills to a house that they don't spend much time in is probably feasible. If not, with help from Sumerian for sure.
Since 1999, the music industry has fallen so low. Level of conceptualization and zero originality. Modern metal industry is designed for a 13 year old girls.
Somebody sounds butthurt just saying lol I love how metalheads over react to something they don't like "Oh shit!! The metal industry is going down hill! It's only for posers and 13 year old girls!" Yes because I see 13 year old girls listening to devourment all the time(their first album was released in 1999 after all) People like you make me laugh
Just you and youre bros living in a big mansion, drinking, smoking, playing video games and making awesome music all day...thats the fucking life right there
