I was born to hate Jews. It was part of my life. I never questioned it. I was not born in Iran or Syria. I was born in England. My parents moved there from Pakistan. Theirs was the typical immigrant story: Move to the West in the hope of making a better life for themselves and their children.
We were a devout Muslim family, but not extremist or radical in any way. We only wished the best for everyone -- everyone except the Jews. The Jews, we believed, were aliens living in stolen Muslim land, occupiers who were engaged in a genocide against the Palestinian people. Our hatred, therefore, was justified and righteous. And it made me and my friends vulnerable to the arguments of radical extremists. If the Jews were as evil as we had always believed, mustn’t those who support them - Christians, Americans, and others in the West - be just as evil?
Beginning in the 1990s, speakers and teachers at mosques and in schools began to endlessly repeat this theme: We were not Western. We were not British. We were Muslims, first and only. Our loyalty was to our religion and to our fellow Muslims. We owed nothing to the Western nations that welcomed us. As Westerners, they were our enemies.
All of this had its desired effect. At least, it did on me. It changed the way that I saw the world. I began to see the suffering of Muslims, including in Britain, as the fault of Western imperialism. The West was at war with us, and the Jews controlled the West. My experience at university in Britain only enhanced my increasingly radical beliefs. Hating Israel was a badge of honor. Stage an anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian rally and you were sure to draw a large, approving crowd.
While at university I decided the protests and propaganda against Israel were not enough. True jihad demanded violence. So I made plans to join the real fight. I would leave college and join a terrorist training camp in Pakistan. But, fortunately for me, fate intervened - in a bookstore.
I came across a book called The Case for Israel by Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz. The case for Israel? What case could there be? The title itself made me furious, and I began to read the pages almost as an act of defiance. How ill-informed, how stupid, could this guy be to defend the indefensible? Well, he was a Jew. That had to be the answer. Still, I read. And what I read challenged all of my dogmas about Israel and the Jews: I read that it wasn't Israel that created the Palestinian refugee crisis; it was the Arab countries, the United Nations, and the corrupt Palestinian leadership. I read that Jews didn’t exploit the Holocaust to create the state of Israel; the movement to create a modern Jewish state dated back to the 19th century, and ultimately to the beginnings of the Jewish people almost 4,000 years ago. And I read that Israel is not engaged in genocide against the Palestinians. On the contrary, the Palestinian population has actually doubled in just twenty years.

As long as the video is put back up immediately after someone (a human) at RU-vid has had the chance to view it and ensure it's not inciting terrorism then what's the problem? Would you rather have Isis videos (which twitter is awash of) covering your trending page or actual content people come here to see. From what i understand the video in this case was allowed back on the site relatively quickly. I don't think this is the solution for every case but if a video is in the trending section discussing one of the "soft topics" nowadays it might be a good idea

That is probably exactly what happened. It's expensive to have an AI create a transcript of every video and then figure out what it means. It's much easier to just have the AI take down videos with words like 'Hate' and 'Jews' in the title.

As a Christian you should know there is something demonic in the hatred, because it authenticates the biblical claim that Israel is chosen of God. That election was for the sake of inserting the Saviour into creation. His coming landed the enemy of God the most telling defeat he has ever or will ever receive. Calvary sealed his doom. And for that, he loathes Israel with a venom not many of us can begin to imagine. It's also why anyone, people, group or ideology originated or having the stamp of Satan automatically shares the same hate. Nazism was just one. Islam and Leftism come in next - though I'm willing to propose that Islam takes point position even ahead of Nazism in that regard. I'm a Nigerian Christian and everything I've stated above came to me while living here in Africa and in my humble village in southern Nigeria. And it's all easy to work out if you think about it. Consider for instance the immense contribution of the Jewish people to world civilization. It has no near second, and for a people so few in number it raises suspicions that there is something otherworldly about them. Consider also that right now in this world is another religion that fires people into flying aeroplanes full of innocent people into high-rise buildings, that incites people to drive trucks into crowds of Christmas shoppers, that causes people to shoot up cartoonists or to plant explosives in their shoes while aboard airlines, but they are not hated or rebuked but are rather given preferences on a global scale. If there's one thing Christians ought to know it is that the god of this world and the ruler of it's darkness is Satan and the people of the world do his bidding many without consciously realising it.

I studied history and I have no reason to think the Jews are essentially different from any other cultural group. It is true that Jews never were enslaved in Egypt (in any substantial numbers), actually there is no archaeological evidence that any great numbers of Jews lived in Egypt around 1000 bce. So I don’t think the things you speak off could have happened. I agree that the Jewish culture and traditions have some isolationist and superiority tendencies, but I think this is a logical part of almost any (monotheistic) religious group. And the Jews, especially after the diaspora, acquired there tendencies as a way of self-protection in a hostile environment. In the paganist Roman Empire and later in Christian Europe where Jews outcasts, maybe not always and at all times but they far more often were than they weren’t. The overall majority of these Jews were poor and powerless and only after the French Revolution (where the equality of everyone was secured in constitutions) did some Jewish families make a lot of money, although still the majority of Jews lived in poor conditions (just as everyone else). But I have no idea what you mean when you say that Jews forced people to convert to Judaism, isn’t it quite difficult to become Jewish?

M.I.K.E Hello, I would like to tell you a story then, if that's what you want. Technically this is more of my mother's story since I was a little too young to remember all of this, but please bear with me. My family is Jewish, and we are American-Israeli. While living in Philly, there was a particular couple who lived next door and I was really good friends with one of their daughters(we'll call her N). They were Palestinians, who escaped from Gaza in order to protect themselves from the corrupted government that was slowly being overtaken by a terrorist organization. Our families were respectful to one another, and got along well. Then came Osama. Osama was N's Uncle who, up until that point, had been living in Gaza, and hated Jews and Israelis VERY much. N's mother (Osama's sister) had convinced him to get out of Gaza and live a safer, happier life in the States, so he moved in with them. This was fine, until he learned that his niece went to play at the Jewish and Israeli neighbors' house almost everyday. He told her to stay away from us because we would lie to her, hurt her, and kill her. My mother was really scared of Osama. She wouldn't even let me go over to N's house because she was scared of what he would do to me. But a few months later, she got a surprise when she opened the door to find Osama standing there. Apparently, N's parents had told him to try and talk to our family, instead of blindly hating us. My mother, despite still being a little scared, told him to come in and offered him coffee. They sat and talked. They talked about Gaza, about Palestine, about Israel. Osama complained about the coffee, and offered to make some himself. He confessed to my mother that he wasn't expecting us to be so friendly. All he had learned about Jews and Israelis was that they would kill him if they got chance, and that in turn he should kill them too. He said he never imagined the day he would have a nice chat and coffee with the enemy. And my mother told him, "There's no reason we have to be enemies." He became good friends with my parents, and I would even call him Uncle Sammy. We helped him find a job at a popular coffee shop. We learned more about the condition of Gaza, and he learned more about Israel's side of the story. So there, a little story. The Rock Yup but we'll still be called anti-Semitic if we date criticize how Israel is setup, how the US sends millions of dollars to support everything they do yet the US is still barely staying afloat, and the opposition from the right about a two state solution. Israel does deserve to exist, but so does Palestine. Israel should also take care of themselves instead of continuing the half-truth that they are surrounded by enemies which for the most part are doing worse than them like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and I believe Israel is allies with Egypt and Saudi Arabia. I once watched a commercial on Trinity Broadcasting Network called Fellowship of Christians and Jew's and I remember seeing an elderly woman crying because she had to choose between paying for her medicine or eating. I felt sorry for the woman and the host in the charity commercial said, "If you avert your eyes then you are not human!" Maybe, it was propaganda. Why should I have to send my money overseas to some sketchy charity when it's the government that should be caring for her? I apologize for coming off as anti-Semitic, I just don't see why I should have absolute faith in a country that I know nothing about?

Combined Haterade and Ignorance. People think that it's Israel inviding Middle East, dispite that Jews were there 4000 years ago as well as today, and it's Muslims who invaded Jews. It's pressent everywhere in every country (even in Israel it self), but in most cases this people are in very small minority (and small minority speaks loudest to get attention it want's). Israel was in war with all it's neneighbours becouse they attacked Israel (Egipt, Lebanon, Palestina, Jordan... they were agressors). Israelis just want to live in peace and safety for once in long jewish history, away from wars, oppresion and haterade, but as long as radical Islam exists, Israel will have ennemies who will be willing to end their lives in order of destroing Israel... So, ignorance, lack of knowlage of history, haterade growing from childhood pass to adoulthood and manny other things that at the end are wrong statements That's my oppinion.

The one thing that sucked me into the Jewish hate train, was how a)disproportionately successful they seem to be, and b)how tribal they seem to be. Both of these are fairly true, but I think now I see 'a' as an arguement to support Jewish values and 'b' as fundamentally no different from any group - when when directly compared Jews aren't even close to the worst.('Death to the Infadels!'-said no Jewish person ever)

Some of them do some shady shit, no doubt. But, I think the problem there may be more related to how people seem to get a pass from public criticism because they are (insert historically oppressed minority group). Also, alot of these more sinister 'jews' aren't even practicing jews who believe in god, but are just racially jewish who may still follow some of the customs. But you are right, all groups of people have their racists, and jews are no exceptions. We have gotten good at calling out white racists, but not jewish/black racists who are racists against whites. this is a problem! But, this doesn't mean the whole group should be demonized. I don't see any significant trend within the religious Jewish community to indicate anything other than they contribute a lot to our society and are peaceful people. I can't say the same for some other groups of people, even though I would still say it's bad to demonize an entire group, some groups have more bad apples than others. Some of that is caused by the beliefs of that group

Also, the video was apparently posted 15hrs ago, but it's only available @360p for me with no thumbnail. We should hate the Jewish State, but hating the Jewish people is not as righteous. Israeli occupation of Palestinian land *IS* getting worse, and that is simply not right. Yes Palestinians have done disgusting things of their own, like telling their people to stay outside during shelling so they can use the dead as propoganda, placing missile structures inside children's schools, among various other horrible things. However, this wouldn't be happening if Isreal simply stopped the occupation! Only blame I share for the Jewish people is that they don't spend every waking day in their country protesting against this horrible occupation. It's as if Americans were to start flooding into Mexico and claiming land that's not theirs, there would be sanctions placed against the US immediately and riots nationwide were that to happen. Anyone care to share a rebuttal? I'm curious on what "The Case for the Israeli State" is!
