J.J., a former New York City hairdresser, struggles to survive by committing petty crimes with his reckless friend Billy Dynamite to feed his drug addiction. He's a bumbling criminal, often tripping over his own schemes. His main hustle involves being a mule for Vivian, a domineering pimp whose network includes J.J.'s ex-wife Veronica, also ensnared in the drug world. J.J.'s bleak existence teeters on a knife-edge when he becomes entangled with NYPD narcs who threaten him with prison unless he cooperates. Amidst this turmoil, he meets Parm, a young woman who ignites a spark of hope in him. Their budding relationship fuels J.J.'s desperate desire to break free from his downward spiral and reclaim a semblance of dignity and purpose.
