A WOMAN born with no limbs hasn’t let her condition affect her independence, as she is able to cook, write, photograph and even sew. Amy Brooks from Pittsburgh, USA, was born with Congenital Tetraphocomelia, a birth defect that affects all four limbs. The 37-year-old told Barcroft TV: “I obviously have to do things a lot differently than someone who is completely able-bodied but I’m able to do things just in a different way.” Follow Amy's channel here: / crozb87

While your comment is coming from a good place, people with adopted parents actually dont like seeing people praising their parents for taking them in. It implies they were going above and beyond to take them in and they are just a burden. Speaking from experience as my partners parents adopted a young girl from Thailand with cerebral palsy.

There are many able bodied individuals that have their lives damaged because the parents are incapable of truly loving them. Parental love is essential for any child to grow up whole.

As a disabled person I often have negative thoughts due to my disability. I gain peace of mind when I realize there's nothing wrong with me; I'm different for a very good reason.

She does more without limbs than all of my neighbors do in their entire lives with limbs. All my neighbors do is sit around their houses 24/7 and on top of that non of them work, and their favorite place to be is the porch they're on it most of the time.

As a disabled girl, i was born with birth defect called Spina bifida . ANYBODY uttering or posting a mean comment about this AMAZING woman cannot be described as anything but morally bankrupt! I regret I don't know her bc I would love to spend time with her and socialize and, most of all, learn from her! She humbles me...... beyond doubt. I am sending this video to those who don't think they can do much in life. You are a true inspiration. We have a friend, who had his arm and hand blown off at 15. I am amazed at what he can do. He was a machinist and married with children. He is very involved with his grandchildren and often takes care of them while their parents are out doing things. I cannot sew, even with both hands and arms. Buttons fall off when I try to sew them on. So I leave the sewing to my husband who is superb at it. Blessings young lady. I'm in awe of her and her extraordinary adoptive parents! They raised her with so much love, acceptance and encouragement. Thats the greatest gift a parent can give a child. And she is soooo amazingly accomplished, beautiful and incredibly positive. So much to learn from her and her parents.

I've always thought that I'm one of the most unfortunate person in the world because I was born poor. I had a hard life but after seeing this woman in this video and saw how she saw her life positively, I soon felt ashamed of myself. Now, I'll never complain again about my misfortunes and hard life.
