LISTEN!!! My husband is tough and rugged like the men in this video but on Feb 24, 2009 when he first held his granddaughter (we only have boys), I knew it was OVER for me as Queen B, that's for sure. I think he cried more than I did. There's nothing more precious than a man with his daughter or granddaughter. GAME OVER!

Men who cry for their children and grandchildren are REAL MEN!

I was 25 when my grandad died in 2021 and I still cry over memories of him. I loved that man so much from when I was a baby. We had lived out of state and we didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time with them, but everytime I got to visit grandpa my dad made sure to capture it on camera because me-the somber child- would instantly run into grandpas arms and never leave his side. He was a man that didn’t care for loud noises, didn’t care to be around lots of kids, but he loved us so much. I can still picture him now in his chair everytime I would walk through the door to visit him and see his whole body, face, aura perk up. This man lived to be 94 and I miss him so much. If I ever have a son, I’m naming him after my granddad. What I wouldn’t give for one more visit with that man.

I met my grandson the second he was born.. I was the second person to hold him and he was my best friend and the light of my life.... he was dx'd with a terrible cancer and died 2 weeks after his 21st birthday.. I will never have another grandchild and my heart is broken.. a broken hearted nana... I live in the hope that I will see him again someday.

I was the only grandchild of my mom's parents, and I was the beloved. My grandparents on my mom's side, I was their little princess. You'd about swear my grandfather loved me more than my mom. I was closer to my grandfather than any other human being that has ever walked this earth. He passed away in March, 2001, 5 months after I turned 21 years old. Worst day of my life. I going to be 44 later this year, and I still consider myself closer to him than anyone else who has ever lived. These babies / kids are so blessed to have grandparents who love them like my maternal grandparents loved me.

I don’t know why, but I was crying with them. After all, there’s a lot of love in the world. Thank goodness!

This is one of the most precious things in the world. How could people not love and cherish their kids is beyond me.

It's really hard not to cry when you're both absolutely happy for having a precious little grandbaby and realize you're probably not gonna be around most of his adult life, esp his important milestones, such as college graduation and wedding.

My daughter had a baby in March. I am completely entranced by him. I really understand these grandparents.

The first time my dad met his grandson he cried uncontrollably.

grandparent who worked hard in their times in order to raise their family, hoping their kids could have a better life, and now they hold the precious grandkids in their hands...reminding them how heartwarming it is to be young again.

A natural ,special bond between grandparents and grandchildren.

I pray to be lucky enough to provide such joy and happiness to my dad while he's still here on earth with me. Ugh, such a tearjerker.

It just became clear to me, watching these films: If anyone needs proof that a higher being exists, the only power that can create live, it must surely be proven by the reaction of countless grandparents meeting the new generation for the first time: "OH my GOD!" 🙏 Each and every one! 😊😍❤ Like a prayer of thanksgiving.

Imagine every memory of raising your kid: the happy times, the sleepless nights, the laughs, the struggles, the loving moments. And then see them have their own kid. All those memories flood your mind in an instant as you hold your grandchild. The emotional intensity of just pure love must be insane

I’ve always believed that grandparents are a child’s first best friend.

In this day in age, as a grandparent you're just greatful to live long enough and see the beautiful creation that is perpetual.

I didn't cry for my own kids. But my grandson I balled like a baby. The love for your grandchild is way more powerful.

It is beautiful to watch hardened adults melt into tears at the sight of someone precious.

The one that really hit home was when the daughter named her son after her stepfather who’d helped raise her…..❤️❤️❤️❤️

This video is very heartwarming. It makes me happy to see so many people happy to meet their grandkids for the first time ever (or for the first time in a while). It also makes me sad because my mom and dad will never have a chance to meet my future children (I'm not expecting, not married or a single mother), but I know that they would have loved them and spoiled them rotten. Love you mom and dad! I miss you every single day. ❤💔❤‍🩹

Gave birth to my daughter while we were living overseas. My daughter was a year old when my father in law and mom held her for the first time. I don't think I'd ever seen my mom so happy. She was on cloud 9!!

I'm crying with my fellow grandparents and currently waiting on my grandbabies to get to my house now.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, my mother became seriously ill and couldn't meet my daughter. After her recovery, they finally met a few months later. It was a heartfelt and unforgettable moment for me.

I haven't seen my grandson in three years, and I have never met my new grandson. My daughter is estranged, much as her mother was. She is dead now, and I am her only parent left, and she calls me by my sir name. These videos make me weep with joy. I just wish I could have this joy in my senior years.

Its true our parents love their grandchild way more than they love us...bcs they didn't gave us time when we were young bcs of their busy life, but now they will give that love to their grandchild ❤️

In late August 2023 I will get to hold my granddaughter, Iris Ann *********, for the very first time. She will be my first biological grandchild. I can't wait.

My sister in law…. Her son got married, and he and his wife had Irish twins. When baby #2 came, this woman literally gutted her home office and turned it into a bedroom just for the girls, so they had their own room when they stayed with GiGi. That’s when I learned grandparenting is something serious.

i remember when i took my daughter to my parents in law's house for the first time.. cant believe im seeing my father in law cried for the first time.. at that time my wife was their only daughter that are married and my daughter was their first grand daughter.. before that they only seen her in their phone but when they actually hold her they started to cry.. the only time i got to be with my daughter is when she needed diaper change.. like 97% of the time she was with her grand parents.. it was truly a beautiful moment that brings joy to both of our family.. now she's 4 years old and grows healthy and beautiful...

My baby girls grandaddy is a bikie. Rough around the edges but always a big care bear for his granddaughter, seeing his face soften when he holds her, and how his big arms close protectively around her she falls asleep in his arms is the best thing.

Covid did this to a lot of grandparents. There were undoubtedly a lot of tears shed during and after isolation was lifted.
