Makes sense tho. From what I remember he was pretty much peak so if the rasengan worked on him with just Boruto’s powers then his mixed in could probably hurt damn near anybody

Nah, Rasengan is just a good technique for an Otsutsuki. Mechanically simple, cheap, and can be easily altered for other purposes. The main flaw for the technique is requiring a high level of Chakra control, something the Otsutsuki have by default.

Jigen/Isshiki does this too cause there is no direct counter from it Especially with a jutsu with rasengan were its strength comes from its versatility
One thing I like is the difference between Boruto and Naruto's use of the Rasengan, even with their bonded entities. Naruto uses Rasengan for bigger and more powerful blasts, especially with Kurama. Boruto, with or without Momoshiki, apart from the Giant Rasengan, uses Rasengan variants that are more geared towards assassination. Vanishing Rasengan, Rasendan, and Rasengan Uzuhiko are all very much tooled for assassinating efficiently.
The cool part is that he can instantly prepare a rasengan so there isn't a small delay as to when the rasengan can hit someone which everyone including Naruto have. So he can basically be in a taijutsu brawl and suddenly, chou Oodma rasengan to the face.
@@user-mt5dz4zx4c This was only valid for when Boruto was not very affected by the karmatic progression, as Karma progressed, Boruto gained a ridiculous amount of chakra, which is why Momoshiki was spamming giant rasengans against the code (the first time Momoshiki possessed the boruto's body he says that boruto had almost no chakra and at that time Karma was not advanced), boruto is currently 100% ootsutsuki and he has all of momoshiki's powers in his chakra base (including rikudou senjutsu, rikudou no jutsu/ rikudou power, mokuton, byakugan, rinnegan, karma, etc. boruto has all of this in his chakra base as well as the absurd amount of chakra he has for being a pure ootsutsuki).

No, Naruto can't even throw regular Rasengans like Boruto & Momoshiki and he uses a lot of Chakra in his Rasengans while it's quite the opposite in Momoshiki's case, he uses a very little amount of Chakra to make it. He did it right away after just seeing it and made a lot of use out of it in just a short time. Not to mention that he pulled the biggest Rasengan we've seen so far and was able to compress a giant Rasengan in the size of bullet.

Momoshiki got that perfect Chakra control because he is an Otsutsuki not because of the Karma. Karma is just one of the many abilities that Otsutsukis can do.

Rasendan and Super-Compression Rasengan are the two best moves in all of Boruto so far. Just tiny rasengans with special properties that makes them much more deadly.

Pure badass Sage Naruto was going to tank Chou Oodama Rasengan. He could've countered with a sage rasenshuriken but knew he'd had to hold back for fear of his son's safety.

@@zardon_zane1630 We can only consider that the technique is broken at the sukunahikona level in this regard, if I'm not mistaken, momoshiki in the novel fell for the rasengan trick that disappears in that uzumaki rasengan that boruto used on him in ep 65, I can't confirm it but from what I remember Momoshiki let his guard down because he thought he had won the giant rasengan (which probably disappeared for a while in his vision), that's why Boruto managed to kill him.
