I wish the Jougan had a bigger focus in the anime. Kinda like how the tailed beasts were a big focus in naruto

Remember when Madara destroyed an entire army of grown up Chunin and Jonin? This guy, who's supposed to be much stronger, can't do shit against two kids. Madara, Pain, Deidara, even kid Gaara would have destroyed these two in mere seconds.

The reason they don’t want to use the jougan to much is because the creators still haven’t decided all of its abilities and want to be careful with it

He wasnt trying to kill Boruto. He was trying to subdue him to hold him hostage to trade with Naruto for the one tailed best. That's why he didnt just one shot him. At the end, When he finally decides he does want to one shot them, Sasuke suddenly appears to protect them. He also stated he was bored and wantd to have fun and purposely gave the kids time to scheme so he could "play" with them, the way a cat toys with a mouse before slaughtering it. He just took too long and Sasuke appeared.

No one knows about true potential of Jougan till now, it will be greatly useful in boruto's journey further.

To everyone complaining about power levels, Boruto has jogan. Using it he gave a temporary but good beating to Urashiki. Jogan is far superior to rinnegan or rinne sharigan. It's even better than the dharmagan. Jogan is also the reason why Boruto was able to dodge Momoshiki's attacks and kill him.

This fight should have been over before it started, how do you have access to all the abilities the rinnegan grants you and still manage to let two little kids land a blow on you. Pain would have slaughtered these two in a matter of seconds. I get Boruto has the Jougan but he doesn’t even really know what it is yet, or even how to use it.

Rinnegan and Otsutsuki clan is so much underestimated in this anime ... such a disappointment

Boruto sounds just like naruto when he screams “Rasengan”

the thing that we know is that Jougan have a capability to travel into the other dimension, can see chakra like Byakugan and can predict enemy movement. Its somehow just like Rinnegan, Byakugan and Sharingan combination ability. Beside Urashiki already know Jougan, its mean that there is someone in Otsutsuki clan have possesed that kind of doijutsu. And the most interesting part is that Urashiki already know about Boruto just before he come to Earth. Remember how Urashiki come to Moon to make Toneri become stone so that Toneri can stop have a contact with Boruto through the dream. Its mean that Otsutsuki clan already aware that there will be someone in the Earth that have a direct bloodline from Hagoromo Otsutsuki and Hamura Otsutsuki and that is Boruto. He is destined to be suffered a lot to lose every people that really he love the most in the hand of Kara and Otsutsuki clan. Sadly, Boruto future will most likely have more pain that happiness... Boruto is a person who have happiness in the start but will have a pain in the end because of his destiny. Naruto is the strongest shinobi and Ashura reincarnation while Hinata is Hyuga princess so Boruto destiny will be crazy... Cant wait Boruto to grown up more

I'm seeing it, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex they will give us an explanation about this scene, Urashiki using Toneri's puppets somehow connected their chakras and with the little strength he had he gave Boruto the opportunity to use the jogan for a short period of time, saving both his and Shinki's lives.

Jougan has some interesting abilities. I'm not sure whether id call it op or weak either, it's oddly somewhere in the middle in terms of overall strength so far. It allows access to transportation ninjutsu, and being able to see the rifts between different transportations done similar to Sasuke with the rinnegan. It allows you to view Chakra points like the byakugan meaning you probably have access to tenketsu techniques Enhanced forsight/abilities as we see Boruto activates it in moments of where his strength/skill atm is peaking, when he fights momoshiki in the anime he could even perceive his taijutsu with it which is stupid impressive, but he also reads urashiki's whip, which even sage mode mitsuki couldn't track. He can also see bites of the future, not like a pure byakugan can but still partial lil bits of the future so he has some warning of danger. It's not stupid crazy like the rinnegan or sharingan but it's definitely better than the ketsuryugan or byakugan for sure.

Definitely something odd about there Jougan. We’ve only seen it in the earlier episodes of the anime, and by the Kawaki arc, it shows no appearance. To the point where in the manga, it has never shown its appearance and remains uncanon to the manga

3 years of brainstorming. It's quite obvious that Urashiki is just below Jonin in close combat. He only depends on absorbing chakra, escaping, and teleportation. He's merely an intel of the main branch. Urashiki's full transformation is even below Pain level at best.
