what bms you are using? any link? I bought 25A ones but after all the work of making the battery pack, fount it can't drive the drill, security triggers just after 1amp.
1 year ago, i did the same proyect. At first, it works as same you do. But i cant fix the loose of power which BMS gives. When drill is forced, the BMS cuts to protect batteries. I used a 100a bms. My drill is an old 9.6v Bosch. how you resolve this? (forgive my english)
My doubts over the use of the type of charger is cleared; will you please let me know what's the mAh of the each cells ( lithium ion) used in this project.
if you don't use BMS battery will not be protected. It will not be safe to charge, may cause fire or explosion. and when the battery is low, it will easily be discharged causing battery damage
@@repairandrestoration4238 On the back of the charger there is the saying Output: 7.2 - 14.4 ... So can or can't I use a bosch charger to charge this 12v li ion battery ???
wtf? Does bosch use the same cheap ass batteries for their professional blue line of tools? i have a green line drill and those batteries suck so i wanted to replace the batteries inside, but that will cost me about 40 euro's per battery, and i payed about 100 for the entire set, so the drill, 2 batteries and a charger, so i'm going to throw my drill away and buy a new one, and not a bosch anymore but a brand that has batteries that don't run empty in 2 days of non use! Bosch is a great brand but not their tools that run on batteries!
Hi , great job, all very clear. do you have for me a link for the BMS and power supply? On Amazon Italy, I did not find the board with the specific ones.Thank you for your reply and good projects. 73-51 by Constantine
