I work with a Norwegian company sometimes, they used exclusively Milwaukee cordless tools, I was impressed and invested in a drill and impact driver, they have dumped the Milwaukee stuff now and gone over to Bosch and think they are far superior, I've got the hump! Lol
rory lobban It would be good to hear how they are doing after a few months. Also where did all that Milwaukee stuff go? They should have given you some.
Not too bad, looks like they developed a decent number of add-ons for the interchangeable chuck. Surprised that you have to tighten down the attachments to the drill body. Looks a lot slower than the 'quick' system Metabo uses. I think Festool has something pretty similar for their PDC18 drill too. Thumbs up to Bosch for developing a quick change SDS drill adapter.
Jursaw Milwaukee already has their own version out. it's a powerful m12 BDDXKIT . I purchased it a few years ago and it's great. I use it with spade bits to cut for cables and it never struggles. Milwaukee are due to release a fuel version of this later.

+TheAudiostud Thanks for that. I think, to be fair to Bosch, it is a bit easier than I made it. Showing things to camera often means you have to hold them in an unnatural way. Having said that power tools can always bite.
Always prefer to have 3 or even 4 separate drills dedicated for the job just so i have the right bit in the right drill for the job without switching bits all the time. Find these drills a bit gimmicky apart from the angled head.
It would be nice to see a set of adaptors for a 1/2" drive impact wrench, you can get chucks with a square hole in the back, and 1/4" adaptors for screw driving, even saw a right angle 1/2" drive for $260.

Love the review, a ton of information. Currently I own a Bosch 9.6v drill and not bad for wood and metal work. I want to buy a new 18V Impact hummer drill or rotary hammer drill for masonry work. Can you recommend, thx
+Paul Geogre This drill has a surprisingly good SDS chuck. I was really impressed. Having said that a corded 2 or 3kilo hammer is cheap and powerful. If you want cordless then you are better off buying one that fits with your cordless platform. The DeWalt, Bosch and Milwaukee cordless hammers are great. If you want value for money forget the brushless and look at the Hitachi which is cheap. We have reviewed it on Skill-builder
What was the result with the last attachment? Can it go through concrete or brickwall? Very nice kit... Love Bosch! Actually I own similar one but with brushes 18V.
Festools a great company but they were even beaten to the portable circular saw by Skil. One thing I do like about Festool is that I quite often see great ideas/solutions from other companies, but no other company combines the great ideas like Festool. You don't need to cross platform with Festool, for woodworking anyway.
