relief valve dripping, expansion tank is likely low on pressure or bad bladder. I seem to recall there being a bulletin or something on them a good while. may be thinking of other units though, but they should all be checked yearly.

What can be with E9 erro on new greenstar with round heat exchanger? The boiler fired up and got 100 degrees with an e9 error, after 30 seconds of e9 going away and Boiler again firing up.

Is there anyway to hook up two thermostats to one unit? All I want is to be able to turn off the downstairs thermostat at night and have the unit read the one upstairs so my furnace will stop running all night and stop cooking me in my bedroom. I ran a new set of wires to the board from the new thermostat, but when I ran the unit the ac compressor would turn on along with the heat even though one stat was off and both were in heat only via the switches on the stats. Even when I pulled the downstairs stat off the wall and I used the new stat, the ac compressor would run along with the heat. I even disconnected the yellow cooling wire from the board and it still ran the compressor with the heat but only with the new stat. If I yanked the new stat off the system worked as it should. So this is why I'm confused as I heard you could run two thermostats on one system, it wouldn't be the best solution but would work for what I want. I also saw the installer has two other wires connected to the board where the stat goes, but I have no clue where those go to and the colors are not matching, yellow wire to red 24v on board and another wire connected on another spot, I forgot what they hooked it up to. I know a decent amount about hvac, but when it comes to 2 stats one unit and random wires going who knows where, that's when I have issues. I know the solution is dampers and do it correctly, but I don't have the cash and this was supposed to just be a 20 dollar fix with a new stat. If anyone can chime in with helpful comments, let me know. I talked to a guy who does hvac, but he wasn't sure about 2 stats and couldn't offer much help besides a 200 dollar unit with two modules.

Send him an email at mike@mikeypipes.com and ask for one. If you have PayPal the address to send is office@pipedoc.net. He has some other options like Venmo etc but not sure on those details. I have always just send the money via PayPal with address and received them promptly. Also one other thing some of the past videos he has details in description too.
