I am a software developer - I have a question....why doesn't the union go on when the condenser is built out? Or at least on the second repair. I state my trade because I definitely relate to getting things done because of time. I chuckled when Mikey stated he can tell how old the unit is with the counts of joints. If you know a problem like this will arise, why not make it a part of the build?? Anyways, thanks for the vid.
A friend of mine has a bosch 3 ton bova last year had a leaking A coil replaced, yesterday board burned completely charred black so bad today tech is replacing the entire condenser. So far i am not inpressed.
I was just wondering how reliable the Bosch is?? It just seems to me that most of the major brands that carry these high efficiency units tend to fail or have numerous issues negating the savings on your utility bill.
Can you use those on AC only they only come in a heat pump why do you have to change the old thermostat or anything to make that work I guess what I'm trying to say do you need Bosch Communications
Bosch only makes heat pumps if I'm not mistaken. They just never wire them up for the heat pump option because they use hydronic heat because it's more efficient than a heat pump in new york I'm assuming
