you used an adapter to read the ecu, if i havent the adapter can i use other method ( connecting wires at ecu pins ) ? i mean does software show u many methods for every ecu ?

HI! I have a passat with edc17c46 ecu. i also have a doner ecu whith same numbers exept for HW:27 on mine and HW:28 on doner. do you know the difference and if those are compatible?
The number you are not sure its Software The bigger SW its the newer version of flash file are inside. If you have frf/sgo file you can upgrade or downgrade files ;) Or if you have full bdm file like you have you can transfer full backup to another it will work ;)
is it neccesary to have ECU of same part# ? currently I have EDC17c64 - PASSAT but id like to flash overt to another ECU that I had in my jetta also EDC17c64! would I need to remove immobilizer ? or can I just copy stuff over from one computer to another ? I believe on one of them my dealership set the speed limiter too low and I just cant drive that car xD going 55mph in 6th gear and car revs as if it was at 5k rpm

plz ,what was the problem in the first ecu ? when you wrote the data from the first ecu to the the second used ecu, had the data on the second been erased automatcally ?

Hi bro i do keys and ecu programming which is a good tool to do it and allso need passwords from the old ecu to reprogram so will good clone ktag do it?
is this a Ktag clone or a real one? i want to start doing remaps on my own car, but im quite scared to break my ecu because of a fake ktag, but i have no money to buy a real one.

Yes! All is plug and play! The immo is in the EEPROM stored! make sure that you make a full backup and program the full backup tho the donor ECU, then you can connect the new ECU to the car and just turn the key and it runs :)
When you swap the ECU with the same part#, you need only the .epr file, because there is the immo-data located. But you can write all files to be sure that all is exactly the same as on the old ECU.
@@diogoprimor4290 yes, i solve my problem to fiat 500 Bosch ME 7.9.10, and i tested olso at another Ecu from ww passat CC petrol car, tested at FORD mondeo mk3 ECU
and was the deler to solve my problem, and dont know how to do that, that why i invest money and time to lear about that problem and how to solve, modify ecu map etc
