You're using the miro-adjustment knob in the lock position. This will strip the threads. Put the lock knob in the middle position (two arrows) as per the manual.

I just finished building the handrail on my deck ru-vid.comUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z and used this great little router to clean up the top rail before the final sanding and stain. It was light weight but packed lots of power. Either size battery didn't seem to make it top heavy and I'm a 64 yr old women so I really appreciated how easy it was to use...................... CORDLESS only way to go !!

You making adjustments when it's locked. Why?

When in the locked position you are able to make micro adjustments for a more precise placement of the bit on your work surface. When unlocked the adjustments are fast and easy but not too precise. Once you lock your initial setting in you are allowed to make the micro adjustments with the adjustment wheel. It is covered from time 3:15-5:10. Any other question just ask.

I didn't care for it.. got rid of my bosch i went and got a Porter cable palm router ..very happy with the porter cable

Before you even think about posting an instructional video on "anything", you might wanna consider learning about the product yourself, thus so you don't mislead others to make costly or even dangerous mistakes. This one is not a tool for the "uninformed", this tool will take your life, inform yourself!!!
