One thing you missed was a pin in the hole to stop the blade moving to make it easy to remove. Good video for the rest and i will order the belt and give it a go..
Great video. This does work for the Rotak 36 except it’s 3 screws on the bottom instead of 4 and unfortunately to pull the motor off requires a big pull/break plastic mould but all works once back on!
Great video. Did that but unfortunately the new belt keeps on “slipping out” of the bearing when switching the motor on… any idea what I am doing wrong? Does the belt need to be in a particular direction (like one side has to be up)?
Thank you for your comment, if you tighten the belt properly the belt shouldn’t come off, so you need to stretch the belt by pulling the pulley right to the end and then do screws to hold the pulley. I hope that helps .
Hi David I think the belt snap between 4-5 years depends how many times you use it. Normally you will hear the motor is working but the blade is not spinning that means the belt snapped.
