That is correct, I think because pre wash doesn't seem to be used as much as it used to so they have just put it on the most common temperature at 40 degrees
Problem is the 500 seems to be retailing at nom £80+ more and effectively all you seem to get is more programme settings (11 rather than 5_which quite frankly are mostly useless anyway I find for the times they are used) Options for 15/30 min cycles at reduced loads and the floor timelight feature. That and it is 'estimated' to be fractionally more energy efficient over the year (due in most to use of the energy efficient mega-long cycles _ 60deg cotton wash is a rather lengthy 4.5hrs)
You are right that the prices fluctuate on both models so the difference can be close sometimes. My only comment is it surprising how used to the floor time light feature once you have it on a machine.
This is a washing machine on its own so won't have a dryer as part of it. If you have space I would recommend you get a separate dryer rather than trying to change this for a washer dryer
@Lords Electrical Unfortunately, I don’t have extra space. What washing machine would you recommend with the dryer as exactly the same size. Can you recommend a small dryer that can be placed on the balcony?
@@lords-electrical Thank you so much for replying! I’ve been trying so hard to locate the dryer option as I just moved to a new flat. The washer I have is the Bosch WNM64 model. Is this not the same one? Can you please let me know if the WNM64 option has the drying feature? Thank you!
I have been trying to have look a the features on your model but struggling to. If it is a washer dryer around the control it should have "intensive dry" as an option and the dial may look like this model. www.bosch-home.co.uk/product-list/washers-dryers/washer-dryers/WKD28352GB If it doesn't refer to drying then it may just be a washing machine without the dryer
WIW28502GB - this washing machine is not good!!! Dont buy it! there is a high pitch noise (we were told from the pump as the water pressure is lower) so not silent that much... also you never know how long a cycle will last... it recalibrates several times... ordinary cycle is around 3h which is way to long... when it spins than leaves the clothes so crinckled so you need to use iron much longer... not really saving energy overall... and from the last night it does not drain and does not spin (less than a month of using it).. all these gadgets such as drum ilumination, display on the floor are useless when the machine does not work properly... i assume Bosch is looking to impress us with the fancy stuff and forgetting what really matters - good simple washing...
