Heard these black gloss finish in a huge hifi showroom in London Tottenham court rd smooth powerful. sound.

@@boseandfriends9284 if they are smart they will keep them because the value is only going up because Bose doesn’t make them anymore only because these younger generations only listen to music thru headphones and those can never produce sound as well as a quality 2 channel system

Series 3&4 have more mid-range, series 5&6 better bass and better overall sound

Series 6 for sure

Series 6, and it sounds much better when set up accurately as Bose suggests - with the 8 drivers facing the wall.

The best placement for the Bose series 5 or 6 which had the better equalizer is 18 inches from the back wall and 2to 3 feet from the side walls and definitely at least 350 to 450 watts going into them or more because they are a 1 ohm speaker wired in series so they can handle up to a 1000 watts and definitely the 8 drivers to the back wall and they have plenty of bass so don’t listen to people who don’t know what they are talking about the ones who put down Bose speakers don’t know what they are talking about they just keep looking at the computer frequency response instead of listening to their wide open sound they produce even at low volume

Look at the commercial version of the 901 - the 802. The 901 is basically the 802, plus the solo driver on opposite side, and encased in wood, not plastic. I still have 4 x 802's (plus a 502B sub and a set of domestic 201's) and if i owned 901's, i'd do the same as in this video.
