My headphones of choice, the Bose QC25 are quite the masterpiece. Easily the best noise cancelling on the market, these over-the-ear headphones can be worn all day with almost no discomfort. Enjoy my review, and be sure to check out my channel for others!

Its actually better to buy QC25 over QC45 And run it through a quality bluetooth adapter/amp. You will have a massive increase in sound quality and a huge drop in price. And it even has a replaceable AAA battery, for longitivity and convenience. QC25 is the real upgrade, and many people miss that point.

And what adapter would you recommend?

I have had the QC15's for 5 years now. I fly about 130k miles a year, and have to say that they were the #1 thing I ever did to improve my flying experience. Also awesome when you feel the need to go into sound deprivation. My only criticism is that after about a year or two of use, the material on the ear cuffs eventually starts to crack and peel off, leaving flaky black specs all over your head. The Q25's now have a different material covering the piece that goes over the top of your head, which they claim will not peel over time. But for $300 headphones, it's sort of lame that you have to pitch in another $30-$40 every year or two for replacement ear cuffs. BTW, some international carriers use the dual jack setup, but then again...not often plugging in to the carrier's entertainment system anyway.

I agree with the cracking. I have an older pair of Bose headphones and they did the same thing. My QC15s have yet to start, but you would think Bose would have fixed this problem with such a premium price for the headphones! Now I can only hope for a wireless version of these headphones as it would make using them so much easier for me.

Check out the Bose QC 35. They are just like the QC 25, but they are wireless.

I have been to best buy and tried these out before. They are very comfortable. I didn't notice any noise cancelation there though. I guess its because they were not powered at the store. I would love to own a pair of these headphones but they are very pricey. I considered getting these or the beats studios because they have a rechargable battery. Being that you can only use these headphones using the aux cable would be annoying. I have a pair of skullcandy hesh 2 wireless headphones and they are great for me. I am able to listen to my music or watch a movie on my iPad using bluetooth. That being said i really enjoy watching you're videos.

I have read other reviews saying the QC25 connection comes loose with slight movement. Have you had any issues with this happening? Thanks!
@techgooch

As long as you plug in the cord all the way, it does not come out on movement. The only time I have had it come loose on me is when I was hit in the head by a branch when mowing my lawn and the cord got kind of tangled on the branch. Otherwise, great connection for me.

Buying the QC 25 is high on my list but I do have a question about sound leaking. Based on your experience, do the QC 25 leak sound/music and if so, about what volume does it happen? I read some reviews that it doesn't leak sound unless at high volume while other says it leaks sound quite a lot. I am planning on wearing these on my commute and flights as well as potentially in a quiet office/home so was wondering how the sound leak is in those environments? I am not planning on cranking the volume up to 100% but but most likely, based on my other headsets, would be around 50-60%.What are your experience with sound leaking? Thanks

sound intensity at 80% of the maximum, Bose QC 25 leaks sound in in sphere of radius 2 foot (if noise in a room is about 50 dB).

+Rick Lee Like any other headphones, it does leak if you crank it up, but you wont even have to since its noise cancelling works really well.

Mine are on push to talk how do I get it off push to talk
@thenextshenanigantownandth4393
I'm not sure about these for two reasons, 1 the design is a little bulky for me and 2 They are not rechargeable, which is unacceptable for a 200 dollar pair of headphones. Save your money and get the infinitely cheaper skullcandy crushers.

I know there are bluetooth receivers you can use for them to make it wireless. Do you know if this could actually work? Thanks!

I'm sure it would, but a direct connection will give you higher quality audio.

***** Hm, yeah, I tried the Quiet Comfort 25, at my local Staples....... I was a bit underwhelmed. I didn't hear an once of bass, which is a bit unfortunate (But don't get me wrong, I don't like Bass-oriented headphones... It's just that it felt a bit flat.... It didn't feel dynamic...... But the sound was clear.).
@techgooch
@techgooch 8 лет назад
Interesting, they must not have had them powered at all. When you turn on the noise cancelling, there is more than enough bass!
@Poodleinacan

***** Weird.... Because I checked to see if I could set the noise-cancelling ON or OFF, and it was glued on the ON position. (Yes, I tried to move the switch, but it wouldn't budge.) Also, I was using music from my iPod, not the music that the headphones are linked to play..... But there should have been bass and noise cancelling, if you say that they do base when turned ON.

Very good for noise cancellation. That's all. For crisp an crystal clear sound beats studio is the way to go.
