Hello is this the best soundbar i can get without needing a smart phone to operate it ,i just want a plug and play and perhaps with a extra speaker or two that i can listen to music videos on youtube that sound nicer than just through my sharp aquos tv (which actually sounds ok) . thank you in anticipation from England were i can get this for £179.99 but if you know of a simple easy set up which is a bit better , repeating myself sorry ,i'm old and slightly confused

I bought this sound bar yesterday and it sounds amazing I would recommend it to others but the lights and remote are a bit hard to understand but once you do understand it you will find it easy

There should be a universal remote setting on the tv settings that will allow you to set up the sound bar to the original Samsung remote. The way I did it was I went to Source menu the went to the right and found the universal remote setting. I then did the set up from there. Hopefully this helps you.

What if you use this speaker on a monitor with only an aux port, would it work?

Thanks for showing the connectivity to the Samsung TV sound . However, can you then still use it separately to listen to music via Bluetooth?

You don't have to use the soundbar remote control. I use my UVERSE TV remote to control bothe the TV and soundbar. Change the Audio Setting on the TV to PCM. You are ok with the optical setting on the TV.

Would this work for a older lcd tv I want to get one for my moms 47 inch samsung in her living room I know it's a older 720p monitor I'm thinking it can work but not 100 percent

If you are using a Apple TV and want to use the Siri Remote, be aware the soundbar is Bluetooth not IR. Found this out by accident when trying to pair it with my Apple TV Siri Remote.

Our Solo Series 2 sounds great but when it turns on a green light show when immediately turns yellow. We can’t figure it out. Thoughts anyone?

Not really a review. More of an overview. I bought this POS because it said BOSE and it was about 95 dollars. Too much for this Soundbar. You didn't covet bluetooth or input/TV/Clear Voice on the remote, auto power on and firmware updates. Not even being able to connect to a 5K dollar OLED with a Magic remote is sad as well.

We never got to hear it. Thumbs down 👎

How do I set it up so the soundbar auto connects and turns on when I turn on the tv? Speaker is connected via bluetooth.
