Also purchased the flex and at first I was underwhelmed but after a few hours of listening it's quite impressive. I paired with my micro and it really performs well. And it will play in stereo
Yes. I always take it a few hours because the speaker drivers are still tight from never being used. They have to be used a bit to warm up and loosen. Happens with most speakers but yes. Very good bass response especially for a speaker this size. I haven't paired it with my Bose Micro speaker but I'm going to do it for the review.
I think the bass is more accurate, and doesn't muddy the vocals like it does with the Micro. There's a better separation of lows from the mids and highs. You can hear vocals better with the Flex as well. Also, the flex gets louder
Putting the micro and the flex in party mode (playing music at the same time linked through the same device and the same volume) I literally could not hear the Bose micro when it came to vocals. You could hear the micro's bass notes but the Flex sounded much louder and the vocals were not covered up by the bass notes. I had to make sure that vocals were coming out of the micro and not just the flex. Better separation of vocals from instruments. I'll do a review where I compare the Flex with the Micro later
I'll do that in the review. I'll bring out the Bose Micro for audio comparison. Hopefully in the next couple weeks. Been super busy with stuff going on. Didn't even know if I was going to post this video this week or not haha.
