Read the manual. You can pair them mono or stereo WITHOUT the app. Here is how it's done. Pair ONE of the speakers with your device. Turn both of them on and be sure it is connected via bluetooth. On your main one touch the bluetooth and the volume up at the same time. Then it will link up with your second speaker and announce "party mode". You want stereo? touch and hold the bluetooth and volume down button. Easy breezy. Just send money 🙂
This dude is spot-on. I own 2 Flexes, and I decided to buy a Max. I work from home and use the Flexes at opposite sides of my desk facing me. They sound incredible as a pair. I sync them from the speaker and never bother with that suckful app. The Max lacks for me, only because it's not in stereo. I almost wish I had never bought it. Another Max in stereo (when it's able) would probably sound better than the 2 Flexes. But now we're talking $320 vs $800. I don't think 2 Max would be $480 better.
@@IAmKAZMOsure but all the sound is coming from one little box so it doesn’t really matter. It’s like having a stereo input in a single ear. Doesn’t make any difference.
There is a way that can put both speakers to put them in the party/stereo mode instead of the Bose Connenct App. I have two Flexes. It's by pressing the bluetooth button and the volume up button on the first speaker and on the second by pressing the bluetooth button and volume down. It takes only a few moments to announce party mode both speakers. To switch to stereo press the volume up and bluetooth button on any speaker and it will say left right.
Thank you, It works!!!!🎉 I already give up and about to get rid of my 2 flex’s - Bose App Cannot connect even my 2 revolve plus 2, and bought a pair of JBL Charge 5.
i had one of those brands beats, jbl and sony but when you set them both asides bose still the best. unless if you are on the high end hi-fi studio monitors like genelecs bose sucks.
Ive had 2 Flex’s since they came out, and this was my dilemma. Well now I have 2 Beats Pills and I’m giving my Flex’s away. But I might need this. Okay now pressing Play to watch the video…
@@LeesReviews69 how’s the two beats pills paired together ?? I just got one and i also have the flex and Sony ult 1. I even though the Sony is a bit louder, flex still sounds better. And comparing it with the beats both are the best with bass. But still… I feel the Bose flex has the win slightly.
I think 2 BoseFlex is slightly better than 2 BeatsPill in terms of sound quality. However, feature wise, I think Beats better. With updated Bluetooth and find my and reverse charging. Personally i value music so I would go for 2 Flex. I already have 1 and planning ro get a new one on a deal for $130 Max is best but so expensive
sadly the mic that you're using has a very limited frequency capture, which is something that reviewers like alan ross or oluv has, i can't really tell the difference between both in this video, the double flex sound brighter. irl the bose goes way deeper in bass and has overall better soundstage as expected
Bose Soundlink Max is way better, works very well with app and doubles up as powerbank to charge up phone when out and about, looks and feels way cooler ergonomically. Way better bass response and stereo sound and no delay when watching video clips, movies or playing video games. Really is a no brainer.
I have the same problem with the app it's completely garbage to me. I found it's easier to pair both speakers together just using the Bluetooth and volume up button simultaneously on one speaker and Bluetooth and volume down button on the other speaker simultaneously their will be a few seconds delay before they connect but they will usually pair up in party mode, and then you can use the app to change to stereo mode.
@@grggi35 I appreciate you letting me know that I thought it could only be done through the app that will save a lot of time don't know who you are but you're my hero thanks
For what it’s worth anyone investing in either I would seriously consider 2 x soundcore motion booms. The quality is awesome. I have a flex which I use for travel and to fit in my pocket but for around the house I want big bass so I much prefer listening to music on the motion boom. The max is ridiculously expensive. Bose being Bose are good at marketing so they think they can justify charging top tear prices. Yes their sound is good but don’t underestimate a motion boom of which you can buy 5 of them and have change vs buying a max. The app gives you an awesome eq and actually works all the time vs boses awefully unreliable app.
I have the 'Bose Portable Home Speaker with Alexa Voice,' which I primarily use for travel. I'm considering upgrading to the Bose Max, though it is not yet available in my country. How do the sound quality, volume, portability, and battery life of the Bose Max compare to the Portable Home Speaker?
I listened revolve+ 2, flex and max in shop. If nobudget just get flex is sound amazing and portable size. If u want deeper bass then take max. If u dint compare size by size with max , flex actually is high cash value. Revolve sound not my taste.
Hello, what do you think is better two Flex for stereo sound or a Max with stereo sound? As for the volume, is two Flex the equivalent of a Max for height and bass?
Great Review... I have Two Flexs... You Can Pair Any Two Bluetooth Speakers... On S22, S23, S24... I Believe That Feature Came Out With Bluetooth 4.x... Pull Down Menu On Right Side of Screen Nesr Top, You'll See Button Labeled: Media Out Pair A Bluetooth Speaker to Your Phone, Any Brand.... Pair Another Bluetooth Speaker To Your Phone... You Should See Both Speakers There... Click on Circles of Each Speaker To Play Same Audio Out Both Speakers... You Can Adjust Volume of Both Speakers Independently... To Balance Out Sound To Your Liking... Big Speaker With Little Speaker... Or Same Speakers, But One is Much Farther From You & One Is Near You... Adjust Volume So It's Balanced Then, When Use Volume Button On Your Up or Down, Both Speakers Will Track... 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 The Max Sounds Very Good... But It's Too Big For Some Occsssions... However, I Plan To Get a Bose Max When Prices Drop... Before or After Thanksgiving Promos / Black Friday... 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 In the interim, I bought Bose QuietComfort SC Earlier Today for $319... Got 90 days to return i know there will be price drop on it also between now & Christmas... Thanks for creating & sharing video...
@@LeesReviews69 tell you what Boses only issue is. Not enough voltage. They put small batteries with high expecting amps and drivers. They have awesome sound if the battery can keep up. But moment they have too little voltage the sound quality decays.
@@speakersubject554do you think that's the reason for the soundlink max distortion? If the drivers don't move too much or overheat that might be the problem as you mentioned. But the sound of the distortion shows lile the driver is about to rip off
@@shoerice5083 i tried max volume in a glass table in the living room but sat from the speaker. Almost no distortion at all. Only raise volume when speaker is about 7 meters away. Bass +1 mid -1 treble +2
I have a MAX and I think there's a problem with the battery...or maybe it's the same for all the speakers. I'd like to know if your unit has this problem : When the speaker stays 2 or 3 days without turning on, the battery lost 10%. If I leave the speaker off during 1 week, I loose 20 or 30%...WTF is this ? 400 euros for this...shame on you Bose !
If I’m thinking of using a speaker/pair for the garage, like building my home gym in there, what would you (or anyone else) recommend? Some days the door may be open, some days shut, and probably a lot of days with a fan since I’m in TX. Pair 2 flex or Max?
Max....it's gets louder and has more "kick" than two flex. If you were gonna be indoors just chillin with minimal distractions, you could get away with two flex.
I’d seriously look at something else, 2x soundcore motion booms sound pretty dam good and are very easy to connect in stereo. Bose hasn’t seem to figure out there bugs when it comes to their app and pairing or via the speaker connection volume down. You can get 2 x motion booms the same price pretty much as one flex. Bose don’t give us an adjustable eq either. I have compared the sound between the flex and a motion booms and prefer the sound fidelity on the motion boom with a custom eq. The bass is 10x larger on the boom too.
@GT2024. I paired my MAX and 2 Flexes yesterday. The codecs are different, so they were at different speeds, but when they do have them... It's incredible.
