@@theanti-star7151 No hearing damage, just some good ears.. but i think thats just the taste of some people. It could be better described as the soundstage, which sounds muffled on soundcore products.
JBL xtreme is not made for the best possible sound! If you want the best possible sound and the flattest frequency, JBL is not for you. JBL offers no manually adjustable eq. AND JBL 3 and 4 have too little sound improvement if you compare with xtreme 2, so there is little point in upgrading if you ask me.
On the jbl xtreme series, jbl did something I didn't like if you ask me! With each new firmware update, the sound quality could change and it didn't always improve, but since people focused a lot on BASS, it was often the ones they got in each update. You never got an equalizer that you could adjust since it then goes beyond the sale of newer xtrem speakers. Extrem 2 and 3 and 4 was ONLY a firmware update! Xtreme 2 could have been as good as 3 and 4 if jbl had updated the firmware and adjusted the eq. correct! The Xtreme 1 does not have as good a tweeter as the 2 and 3 and 4 have.
Very comprehensive review! Just bought one today. It definitely has better material quality imo. I had the JBL clip 4 for a couple of years and I have used it while cycling, hikes, showering, etc and I like how it sounds. However, the rubber strips at the bottom peels off in time given the fact that I am very careful with my tech devices. They just easily comes apart. Had to glue them back and still looks like a mess. I just hope the sony chargers quicker since the input for jbl is 5v 1A while the sony has 5V 0.5A. Any of you guys have some experience with charging the XB100? How long does it take normally?
I own a JBL flip 6 and am quite happy with its quality and performance...however I would want to add a Marshall too to my stock...will I be able to pair my JBL flip 6 with Marshall Middleton...both are bluetooth 5.1....any wise and right feedback would be highly appreciated
I bought the sonys first but while golfing they fell out non stop. I used the ear piece fitting and it called for medium, so that's all I used. Got frustrated and returned and bought AZ80. Their fit put me in XL and they stay in ear great. But I really preferred sony sound, Maybe because of the outstanding noise cancelation. Should I go back to sony and use lg ear tips? Can anyone relate?
I already own the JBL Boombox 3 and the Motion Boom Plus I don't plan on getting the Boom2 because I've been spoiled by the JBL so now I'm thinking about getting the JBL Xtreme4 for portability if it comes to the US because the JBL Boombox 3 is a bit hefty! 😅
No surprise that the Bose sounds the best! The sound quality is superior! Sure it’s pricey, but you pay for quality, and if you’re not satisfied with the price, just weight 5 months until Black Friday this November and get it for half the price 🤷🏿♂️.
Amazing speakers both of them. It all comes down to the reason you want them. Sound quality is almost 1 to 1. The only difference I think Marshall intended with these 2, is the soundstage and bass, Middleton being more for an outside settling, like beach, park, etc, and emberton being more of a pool party speaker, a room, an open terace, etc. But both of them perform pretty amazing anywhere, as much as their power lets them to ''fill the area''. No other better choice in this size categories. Update - Emberton II has slightly better middle range sound. Better for rock, country, vocals, guitar, etc.

Can't place it inside a cabinet. The side-firing radiators can't fully move due to the cabinet's sides. I'd rather have all the speakers facing front and radiates at the back. The cabinet resonates the overall sound and enhances the bass.
Great comparison brother like always. I got this free with my soundcore boom 2 plus and this is by far 1 of the best speaker in this price range . Good luck brother. God bless

Soundcore is a great choice if you're on a budget. However, Boombox 3 is on a different level for fuller, richer sound and bass. Also if 6 additional pounds with a handle is too heavy for a guy, then maybe their girl can do what they can't. Rolling eyes
Thank you for your review. I have the XM4's and I loved them, although the batteries only lasted a coupe of years before they stopped taking a charge. I personally had a great fit with mine. I'm sure that is very subjective based on ear opening size and shape. I wore mine while mowing my lawn. I have a zero turn mower and my lawn is about 3 1/2 acres, very bumpy since it used to be pasture land, and it takes me about an hour an acre to mow it. For about a year and a half, I could mow my whole lawn with now battery issues. Once they started to fail, it didn't take long for them to completely die off. Now they sit on my desk as I contemplate what to get to replace them. The noise cancelling was easily better than a pair of foam ear plugs. And yes, the sound quality was great as you would expect from Sony.
Middleton kills it!! So nice, warm, detailed and balanced sound. Now, it depends on each person's taste, but if we are being realistic, the most accurate sound is produced by Marshall, hands down.
My mum has ordered a pair of them and they are arriving tomorrow. My other earbuds were pretty crap, but after watching this review, I know I'm going to love them forever. Bye, bye crappy earbuds, hello absolute beasts. Cya!😎
Hi, I was using ‘Bose’ speaker for a while and it seems a weird noise comes from left side speaker. It is noticeable once you keep near to your ears. Does anyone felt the same. I have replaced and same issue persists.
I can say that this is not how bose sounds either his speaker has some issue or the video in RU-vid. I have heard all these in real life believe me Bose is the best in terms of bass and sound. Ult is second best jbl have the worst battery life among three and i am 100% sure of you hear Bose you will get it for sure.
