Thanks for sharing 👍 I'm very pleased with my two pro16 for dj purposes. I recently sold my two sub2 because I wasn't impressed with them and it wasn't worth the extra carry. This video proves that the two subs from the pro16 are louder than two sub2.
Hi ! actually there are no big differences between the sub2 and the subpro16. however, the sub2 will play louder if it is not in L1 Mode but it will play up to 100hz therefore not functional with the pro32 the big drawback of the sub2 is the handles vs the height of the sub2 for people like me it is 5.4 feet tall.. it carries really badly compared to my old F1 sub
@LowVybezEnvoy1 have you tried in stack mode in the center between your two pro16s? in stack it should have a good +4, 6db I agree with you, I expected more from the Sub2 compared to the specifications mentioned on the Bose website. Especially since on the Bose website it says that the subPro16 is equivalent to the sub1 but that is completely false.. and it doesn't do well unless you're over 6 feet tall I think.
@DavidB_AudioTech I didn't try the stack mode but I placed them side by side standing up in between the two pro16 didn't help much outdoors. Indoors they sounded good. I'm thinking of going with a pair of rcf 905mk3 for the extra low end now
For Bose , Sub F1 is good but not working well with L1 serie because the crossover is to low , Sub2 is great but only one handle... For people like me who are not very tall, 5.4 - 5.6 feet, it is still difficult to transport because of height.. I prefer to carry 2 Sub1s for a slightly better but less precise result
@@DavidB_AudioTech because it's designed to work with the F1 top which is an 12" full-range speaker which can handle more upper bass than columns speakers.
Question. Have all the Subs been updated to the latest firmware. I've found that updating my Sub2's firmware made a significant difference in output before clipping
