It's like in movies when the main character is walking away and a car or a building blows up behind them and they just keep on walking with no turning back.
11:27 Saying "It might not be the best idea to learn to drift in a Nissan Leopard" while the learner spins out in the background is true comedy I loved it.
I echo that^ my ae86 was used off road in Japan but I've never been able to find much about events or venues online. I always wonder about what kind of life it had before leaving the country.
been binge watching your videos all day and was about to go to sleep so i refreshed the home page and there i saw you blessed us with another banger video
F31 is a cool chassis. I did the multi link swap on mine. The trailing arms were not ideal for me. The VG is also plenty capable for me. Mine has a single turbo and is super reliable.
always liked these. they were sold under infiniti as the M30 in the US and are ridiculously rare. that blue one on the longchamps is absolutely gorgeous
Alexi, nerdy facts about license plates and other automotive culture trivia ARE EXACTLY what make your videos stand out! Well, along with your presentation, explanations and personality.
Honestly these are the videos I love most! I'm from America but love the Japanese car culture. There really isn't much good information over this way besides all the commonly known things like Supras, skylines, and so on. Thanks for keeping the info flowing, And showing off the different generations of the Japanese car culture.
The poppy air freshener at 3:50 is very popular in sweden! Not rare to see 10+ on the dash with rgb led under that makes them glow. The more you have the cooler you are 😜
Never knew about Leopard's, that's cool as heck! I wanna see some dirt trial/rally stuff too! Kumakubo shut down Ebisu South (a.k.a Minami) for it so it's got to have something going for it.
In the US, the Leopard was known as the Infiniti M30, which only came with the V6 (VG30E). Unfortunately they are getting harder to find, or you can only find the atrocious looking convertible model.
@@stitchk2755 So that's why title states Infiniti M30! Yeah it is unfortunate, the only cheap JDM RWD's are the rusty ones now, either gotta get good at rust repair or buy E46.
I own an Infiniti M30 the US kouki variant of the Nissan leopard. I love fallen in love with this car ever since I saw a coupe. The zenki is a dream car to own they have such good styling cues and there so much history behind it with it being a combination of so many nissans. Top tier car!!!!
I just want to leave a comment and say I love your videos. It's rare that I watch every video that a creator uploads, but your videos are always a good time. They're like my RU-vid comfort food.
Props to you for showing lesser known vehicles in the realms of JDM - although I knew about the Leopards in question, I didn't know about the 3 & 5 series rules and the slight variations in the model that govern them. "the more you know...." Keep up the good work Alexi
First i learned of them was back in the late 00's when i saw a RC body of one. I was fresh into my S13 kick so i fell in love with them instantly. Used to always find one or 2 for sale for dirt cheap but now they're going up.
It's the works specification F31 Leopard that I was interested in. I was happy to be able to take a closer look and hear the sound. Thank you for the delivery.
I'd have thought AbuDeka made the F31 Leopard too valuable to drift these day. Seems not to be the case! The bosozoku car even got the same reg no. as the one on the show. That's pretty cool.
A lot of leopard owners are huge fans of Abunai Deka.. and so its always kind of a homage deal. F31 Leopard, atleast the Zenki model, has a high value. It's not just an ideal car to drift because it's usually AT, heavy, and just like in the video, the rear suspension even makes it a bit more annoying.
i will never get tired of seeing Bosozoku/shakotan style cars. ever since i saw these weird cars show up on old forums in early 2000s as Ricer cars. i don't know why but i feel in love with them and then found xtreme vanning in JP and then found the Dekotora trucks. i been in love with those styles ever since. I've built ALOT of bosozoku cars in Blender and then uploaded them to build, script to drive for Second Life. and I've built like 2 Dekotora trucks, that drift in game XD
I was loving it when you were "nerding" about the details! You know exactly why we click and what we need👍 A video about license plates is what I would watch🙈. One about Rallycross would tickle me bones if you won't mind.
Just want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate the subtitles, and not only their presence but also the style you put them in. Something about Italicized text in yellow with black outlines is so pleasant
I love how when i was like 20 i wanted to buy a leopard in japan as a missile as they were waaaaay cheaper than even an na silvia. But i couldnt find a manual one 😂 i assumed they never came manual, and here we are 14 years later, turns out you can just throw silvia parts at it like any other late 80's nissan and party 😂
First nissan k11 march in the background of you videos😄. I would love to see what the nissan march community is like in japan. Plus another educational video 👌🏻
Love the footage, only for people like you , juicebox and others, people like me would never see or hear what happens in the land of the rising sun. Keep up the great work nori...
I'm pretty sure I first saw a Leopard in the old HPI mag back in the day and thought it was the coolest thing - I wanted one until I realized just how hard it was going to be to import to Aus!
I have dove hard into your channel Alexi and I didn't know I needed your videos, there's not a lot of drifting opportunities where I am but I am hugely into it and building a car for it, but I've been going crazy not being able to drive my car so your videos have been keeping me sane, and yes please do that number plate explain video
Another bit of F31 nerdery is it was the only generation of Leopard that was just offered as a 2-door; the F30 was offered as a 2-door and a 4-door, while the Y32 and Y33 were only 4-doors. And the F31 sold so poorly here in the States (as the Infiniti M30) that Nissan gave up on coupes for Infiniti until the V35 Skyline came here as the G35 coupe more than 10 years later, though we did get an M30 convertible built by ASC (My elementary school principal had one.).
