Guys. One of my childhood dreams. I bet everyone remember how blow off in Gran Turismo 2 sounded. There was no pigeon, zero stututu- it was just pure whistle. I bet it was modified in some sort of post-production. It sounded almost cartoonish. Does anyone can propose me an bov with similar sound? Looks like they used 1gen HKS SQV, but recorded with microphne very close to valve The closest I've found is Properfekt Typ 1 Bonus: do you remember how diferently game sounded in famous demo from PSMagazine? (Lancer, Rome Circuit)
@@SuperMatiz IMO the best sounding BOV is the tial Q50, verry Sharp Powerful wistle with no stustu and very reliable. I tried both Tial Q50 and HKS SQV (last gen) on my 1JZ-gte Soarer, and the Tial is heavenly good sounding. but so much bigger than the HKS so not so easy to fit.
@@asianduh8108 yeah starting, considering the amount of years he has been doing it, i assume it wasnt till recent years until it really started to payoff
You earned it Alexi! That was sick. Looks like you're having a heap of fun too, and it's so much fun to watch. Bring back pedal cam though, we want to watch your dance moves.
This is what Keiichi Tsuchiya has been saying about the Silvias as far back as Best Motoring's drift instruction episodes (later dubbed as Drift Bible). High response, not too much power.. Fine-grained control is the best!
oh boy, I've never drifted, and probably never will - but your videos really give me something, so glad I found you back then through the trashtaste episode
Haha I'm in Utsunomiya for the summer, I'm like 10 kilometers from Nikko Circuit. Glad to know you were doing your thing so nearby - love your channel been following you for years. Cheers Alexi! 🍻
Didn't even realize it has been a year already since you got the S15. Love the progress on that S15 since you got it when it was still dusty at a yard.
The new turbo work very well! Of course, small turbo spin up faster, but this one seems more powerful too. Maybe thinking adding more boost to the engine? But as you say, more boost equal to more big problem.
