On this video, we look at the legend that is the Boss DS -1 distortion. The most famous boss pedal ever!
Join me on a deep dive as I try to find Jimmy Page's tone in this little metal chassis.. Was I successful? I think it sounds great but you be the judge!

Hi folks, thanks for watching the video! I used a new prime lens for the video so am still trying to get lighting, work flow and composition right.. Forgot to turn on my guitar man light etc..🤣Slowly trying to incorporate new video and recording techniques.. Anyway, I love this pedal and I hope you enjoy!

It actually does have that Page fuzzy amp blowing up tone but it sounds a hair compressed but darn it does mach a Marshall type amp !

That would be good to get that amp sound at lower bedroom volumes

It has a 10, 20 and 50 watt option. I was using 10 watts so it’s sound a bit spongier
