To all who struggle : in fact, after pressing "memory edit", use the first knob to select PDL. Then, use the third knob to activate it : the point under "PDL" turns into a pedal. Push on "Enter" and you will see that the pedal is now ON 🤟👍
Thanks!!!!! You should also do politics, with your amazing abillity to make sence of things- it would be peace all over the world!! 😁👍👍 Wow thought I never would figure this out- but now i’m in wah wah land! Thanks👍👍😁
FOR ALL OF YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CRY WAH PEDAL EFFECT, THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED: In EFFECTS CHAIN VIEW, Use KNOB 1 to select EX 1 (Expression 1) - press [ENTER] to enter EXP 1 MENU - use KNOB 1 and set to pedal fx - Press [EXIT] -
First, thanks for your video. Very helpful. Here's my situation. I can enable the wah function but it acts like half a wah and half a volume. By that I mean to say, when I rock the pedal all the way back the volume cuts out completely. And when I rock it forward, it enables the wah peak but it doesn't really wah. Calibrated the pedal, assigned it to CTL1, can switch it on and off, but it just won't wah. I've been into the settings for it and have set the frequency peak variously but no good. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for showing how to do this! So when you set the wah it leaves the volume pedal working also, and in gages the wah when you press foot pedal down to I gage it?
I did this and it's still working as a volume pedal. the small light bulb is on but it won't automatically activate the wah pedal. Any tips on how to get it working?
sorry, i dont get it... sorry but i am new to this. right now, seems the only way i get any output from gt1to mixer is if i press on the wah pedal. (and theres quite a bit of static.) if the wah peddal is in the "off" or up position, everything is muted. i can only hear anything if i press (activate)on the pedal. again, is this supposed to be like that???
Thank you for the tuto but I must be a real fool... The "pedal fx" never lits and i'm stuck with a pedal that only manages volume. Fortunately, I have a zoom pedal and I know wah works on it
I hope you found it out in these 3 weeks but if not I'll tell you. I first also didn't understand but you just have to press the pedal sometimes. Maybe littlebit stronger than normally but I'm not sure. Just not so strong that you break the pedal 😂
Sorry , I don't get it, or the logic. You're saying that the buzz is PART of the patch because it's emulating a noisy distortion box, high gain setting? You can't cut it out with a noise gate. Is there a noise gate on this thing? Thanks,
Since I was operating the pedal by hand, I naturally have not touched the strings, so not grounded ... And attack is changed when deeply hooking the noise gate. I hate it. So do not apply noise gate deeply.Thanks.
Thanks for the video, helped me a lot! Can you help me creating an AUTO WAH assign? I need to play the ending part of Dani California's solo (time 4:25 on Spotify). I used a combination of distortion + auto wah on AmpliTube with guitar link and it was almost perfect! But with GT1, I can't find anything that gets even close =(
I think you're pedal calibration is the issue. At calibration it says set minimum. Have your pedal fully open and press enter. Then maximum, fully close the pedal and press enter.
This not wah settings. This is how to do padle calbration. To turn ON wah padle function-just turn it On by pressing "memory edit"-select what kind wah you want, then just turn "padle On" by turn left or right knob 3. Then enter/exit. Once the wah mode is on... Red light near the padle will light on. simple. No need to do padle calibration. Padle calibration is needed when you facing the volume problem.
