These patches are designed for the BOSS GX-100 guitar effects processor. The guitars used in the design was both a Fender Stratocaster and a Fender telecaster. So the gain structures are optimal for single coil pickups. If you wish to use these these patches for humbucking, double coil pickups, you
may need to adjust the ‘’gain’’ settings accordingly.
In ALL cases the speaker simulation is turned ON. So if you wish to use these patches with an amplifier (Into the effects return on an amp for example), you will need to turn the speaker sim off which can be done in the ‘’amp’’ effects block.
The patches utilise the foot switches labelled 1 - 4 to turn effects on an off. Useful in both a live and studio setting. Controller C1 is used as the tempo tap for delay times in all patches. Controller C2 is the tuner. If you wish to scroll up or down to the next patch in the bank, this can be achieved
by using a double external foot switch (such as the Boss FS-6 or FS7) to operate controller 3 and 4.
