I agree alot of the demos of it suck! But you need to remember that If you like the blues driver and or the angry charlie that this pedal is essentially just those 2 pedals in one, but more versatile ! So It wasnt a mystery to me that this is a great pedal since I really like the blues driver and the angry charlie already!

Thanks for watching Mark. For the most part I do in-depth demos with talking points but I can't always allocate the time it takes to do them. I do really appreciate that you like my in-depth demos. I prefer to try and let folks know how I arrived at certain settings from an educational perspective. Thanks again for tuning in!

I did NOT expect to see you with a Schecter. It has nothing to do with the quality of their instruments, it just doesn’t seem like your vibe. Maybe next time, a demo with a Dean ML? Haha.

After having for it a year, can you still recommend it? It seems like the best pedal I've ever heard in terms of the stacking and tones you're getting, I've watched a lot of other videos and own a Nobels ODR but starting to think this might be more versatile

It's a good pedal but to me, it sounds and feels different than the Nobels ODR. The JB-2 is technically more versatile than the ODR but it's also a different sounding pedal.

Are there two separate volume controls for each mode? So one mode would be a rhythm channel while the other can be activated for more volume lead channel ?

There are separate level and drive controls for each channel. The level of the modes are static.

Shawn: thanks ... so you cannot use one channel as a rhythm and the other for a volume boost for lead correct? The old discontinued Boss SD-2 Dual overdrive pedal was able to do this.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood you. You can absolutely adjust the volume of each channel just like the SD-2.
