Pedals like this are much better than the wet/dry blend on individual pedals for bass players. You can keep your dry signal and layer all kinds of effects on top and underneath it. Good review!
I'm starting to adore this pedal, and I don't even own one (yet). Being able to take literally any awesome effects pedal, for guitar or bass, and blend it in with a clean signal to make it usable in a live situation is a dream come true. Thanks for the great demo! :)
I used this pedal for my bass rig with my last band. Running two big muffs in two different loops while still maintaining some bottom end made for some awesome sounds.
I use both the Xotic and the LS 2 since I combine effects which the LS 2 handles like a champ. Though for a single pedal like my distortion pedal, I use the Xotic blender. Thank you guys for using various pedals and offering feedback on how to improve bass tone. You guys rock!!!!!! You play. We decide!!!!
Apart from the great clean-blended DS-1 example, the 4:50 parallel option sound awesome! Seems to be a great deal to get some interesting tones unreachable through a regular _serial_ pedal chain.
My favourite pedal - I run a overdrive and synth through loop A and an Octave pedal through loop B, with the LS-2 on A-B-bypass mode. Seeing as the overdrive / synth are very rarely on with the octave, or vice versa, I can always have a clean signal holding the low end. The LS-2 is a killer box of tricks.
I'm new to pedals and I just came to hear what the DS-1 with dry signal mixed in sounded like. But I'm REALLY liking how the DS-1 with octave sounded in parallel instead of series.
Was looking for a clean blend pedal, turns out this is cheaper then every single one I could find lmfao. Thinking of this with a blue box for distortion sounds, godbless
The only criticism of the line selector that I have is that it duplicates the signal, but that's only cause it's not purpose built for bass blending specifically. In that sense this is more of a hack. It's gonna sound a little muddy compared to something like the tym big bottom that actually splits the signal into lows and highs, and then only affects the highs. But those pedals are fuckin rare and expensive so the LS2 absolutely does the job!
Jim Dragon it's a good pedal but I found it didn't track particularly well at times. In my opinion the MXR bass octave deluxe is a better alternative :)
Question please :-) Is it possible to use the LS 2 just as a Splitter A or B! And take the original DI out to Mixer? Fo example: i use one Le Bass ans i use 1 AMT Bass Crunche - i just like it as a Channel selector. Couse i need the Amp Simmulations from the PreAmps. Thx Greets Dieter
Looks awesome- My question is can one run a loop of random effects (ex loop A) and have a separate loop with an expression pedal (lets say- loop B) to apply to the sound/signal of loop A and go to my amp? I am trying to work it out in my head...It sounds possible.....Great possibilities.

Is the LS-2 useful with an amp that has no Effects Loop? Sorry If I misunderstood to video. The A-B-Mix setting sounds awesome because I only use my amp for a Clean sound and use pedals for everything else.
I know nothing of Burton lore but he most likely employed a far more massive and clunky solution and would have loved something like this. A lot of those OG distortion guys just used two amps and sent one pickup to one amp and one to another. That's one reason a lot of them used Ricks is because of the stereo output.
So if i had say a ds1 in loop A and a danelectro fabtone in loop B could I run them both into different loops on my switcher and still be able to get that clean blend on both channels? If so how would the chain go? Thanks to anyone who can chime in on this and thanks to Will and the guys on the Bass Channel.
Elvis Valentine Not sure did I understand the question correctly, buuuut I think it wouldn't work like that. In theory you could create one big loop with multiple loops in it by running A or B send of the Ls-2 to the input of your loop switcher and from the output back to the Ls-2 A/B return. Now you can, again in theory, blend that signal with your clean signal going to the amp. Sorry if this made no sense, english is not my first language.
Is it possible with this line selector to have my ditto looper loop onto one amp and then switch the channel to another amp without the loop to be played on the second amp?
I have a few normal 9v center negative pedals and a 15v center positive, it has always troubled me to put them in one system of pedals. Would a pedal like this work without too much background noise?
