You nailed this song. I never really got to listen to the original before this, but I could immediately tell this was better. The medley stays true throughout the song, and it never sounds like there's "sound for the sake of sound" if you understand what I mean. It maintains the intensity of a boss fight while changing exactly how intense every once in a while. The pure bass parts are incredible as well, since you seemed to hit the bullseye of powerful-feeling music without it sounding like you tried to hard to get it. All in all, this song is a personal favorite of mine out of the hundreds of video game remixes I have downloaded on my phone. Fantastic job.
I first remember listening to this song when I was a little kid. I remember hearing it and forgetting the title. Like a year or so later I found the song and added this to my playlists. Years later it still makes me happy that this relic is still here. This stuff doesn’t feel old, it just feels abandoned. Imagine if you mixed modern day edm with your “old” style. This is just talent right here, and the fact that your songs always sound good no matter how much time passes shows how sick these songs are. People can say what they want to say about how you made music, but this shit is good and you should definitely consider making a test of a song or something. Don’t throw your talent away, build off of it and bank off it too. Didn’t want to be with the rest on this comment, but seriously man, just try just a little.
Woa it's actually insane how many different parts he managed to fit into this 5 minute song while still keeping the progression feeling cohesive. Like seriously, try listening to the entire song and counting how many different parts and variations on those parts there are, it's insane!
There will truly never be an artist like acid notation. It makes me sad that youre no longer making music but that sadness is completely taken over by the joy of knowing that you actually have a life. ❤
i love how his songs are so chaotioc and have so many different melodies throughout ONE song. it's sad that he desided to leave making music💔 but thanks for your effort, acid-notation❤️
