@@edc1022 It was clever; having the shooters switch sides to make an intersection and hopefully catch a defender. Brown and White basically screened each other and Holiday noticed just in time to close out. Saved us TWICE defensively.
What Jrue did on that steal reminded me so much of his steal on smart to win the game for bucks on the last finals run 2 years ago… just happy to be on the better winning end this time 😅
There were SO many great moments in this game and incredible performances, especially from JT, Al and Jrue in particular. As a Celtics fan though, what I loved to see most is how after the Pacers final shot missed, instead of celebrating, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White immediately got to talking about how Nesmith got that open. Thats a team that has its eyes on the prize. They weren't going nuts celebrating. They were saying 'yoooo how did he get that good a look? Thats on us.'
That block by Horford around the 4 minute mark of the 3rd quarter was the turning point if they get that bucket and go up 17 with 3 minutes in the qtr its over. Al has been phenomenal. Might be one of the best performances as a unit in years. They refused to give up. This win made me proud to be a Celtics fan. I went from cursing out every member of the team to going nuts watching them chip away at the lead. I damn near cried last night I was so happy 😂😂
Jrue's impact in ECF is insane. Having him is a blessing. I still can't believe how the Bucks messed up trading him. Good thing Lillard doesn't want to play for the Celtics 😅😆
@@saviodias8136 haha ur funny trade a two player who has been ballin for one an old washed one way scorer who couldn't play defense if it saved his life? Get off the fentanyl. U don't trade a 27 year old entering his prime for a guy who is shorter can't play defense and is 33 goin on 34 years old.
I will say this... Marcus would have flopped all the way to sliding under the basket trying to sell an "Offensive Foul". Jrue on the other hand, stays disciplined and stays on Nembhard long enough to get the steal!
This win really showed me that this team wants it this year. Last season, the Jays would try to play hero ball and jack up 3’s to cut the deficit. They’re mature now, they understand that it’s not about making shots but executing down the stretch, staying disciplined and doing the little things, rebounding, timely help defence and trusting your team mates. Derrick White was not good until the last quarter and a half. He just kept doing what he does best and got some very good blocks that led to transition buckets.
@@hdttyson Off the bench, if he can play. It would be insane to bench Horford at this point. Let's not mess up what's working! Big Al has been amazing for us.
The Celtics teams from the past 2-3 years would’ve taken this loss and moved on. This team, this 2024 team is different. This entire year feels different man. It’s their time. ☘️ also: the timeline which Tillman was inserted in the lineup cannot be understated. He gave the team key defensive minutes!
He hasn't played very much since we acquired him. It's a blessing to have so much depth at the 5. Even without Porzingis, we have Horford, Kornet, Tillman, and a diamond in the rough, if needed, Neemias Queta. No other team could lose Porzingis, and not miss a beat.
Bro this was crazy to watch that day. Love what KG said about this game. Its already hard to win in road during playoffs much more your down 18 2nd half. "You have to be a monster to do that." -kg
It's close between this team and the 2008 Celtics. Garnett, Pierce and Allen were all just past their primes in 08, but still won the title, these guys are still young. I've been a fan since 1980. The 1986 Celtics remain the greatest team I've ever seen. Not just the greatest Celtic team, but the greatest team, period.
Oh, THANK YOU FOR THIS. I missed some of the comeback picking up my daughter from work (Grande and Max in the car), then got home and our three 20-somethings, for once, had settled in front of the TV. Happy to not watch alone, but man are they loud. I get to sit back and enjoy it now.
I keep on rewinding this shot every 5 min's, can't believe how the hell can Boston cover this deficit in one quarter, great play by each and every player, coaches and ground staff, carry on the good work till we reach banner 18, thanks for the coverage of this quarter Tomascz.
Imagine if the ball had to go in from beyond the arc, it would have been a reversal of the game 1, we require prayers and a miracle for Boston to win ECF and NBA Championship, only then will all the tv anchors talk good about the Boston.
@@dh5363yea i agree.. especially because of that shot he hit to go to Ot and then win! Tatum been very good too, sometime his shots off but it happens. He doesn’t get credit for his defense, dude is clamping down and stripping everyone!
I like this team and I want them to win the championship but they need to stop playing down to their competition. The Pacers without Haliburton should've been a 20 pt win not a miracle comeback.
Please worship the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE LORD GOD and try not to worry too much about the differences between the different religions and denominations, try to think about the similarities and the things they may have in common more than the differences. Daily prayer is a fundamental part that many people do not practice although it is encouraged 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 "CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, I beg you to never force me to worship any false god and I ask you for forgiveness for my sins and immorality. Thank you for everything. Amen." Please pray this now, pray the words as you read them if you cannot look and remember them
