Boston are just on another level to the rest of the league this year. The excuses being rattled off by the media about easy paths are just nonsense. The Celtics were beating all those teams in the playoffs with or without their best players. We knew it, they knew it, everyone knew it. We even went 9-1 without our starting Center. But everyone leaves that part out lol.

Nuggets had an easier path than we did but nobody gives them any abuse they way they do this Celtics team. I think it's because we are clearly so much better than the rest of the league that the only way to make the playoffs interesting is to dump on the C's lol.

The Celtics had the EASIEST run to the finals in NBA history. All the teams they played had their best or one of their better players injured. They would have loans if the warriors got to the finals this year. I mean Jalen brown went 1-7 from 3 and Tatum was 2-8 from 3. That is terrible.

they have had the easier road to the finals, they played the heat with no butler, they played the cavs without jarrett allen and donovan mitchell for a few games, they played the pacers with no haliburton and in the finals, luka or kyrie will get magically hurt

Just keep on going with the narrative lol. Pacers smashed the Mavs twice this season. There’s only about 5 good teams in the league. Look at Suns and Clippers who were contenders, they would get smoked by healthy Knicks team
The West’s best teams ended up being a team with a 24 year old superstar and his 32 year old head case co-Star surrounded by role players they traded for at the deadline before going on a run, a team with a 22 year old star who is nowhere near ready yet, a guy who is criticized for being soft and thinking too highly of himself, and a guy who won DPOTY only to have so many say he didn’t deserve it and is getting embarrassed, a team with the MVP and his injured co-star featuring no other All-Stars and a weak bench and the #1 seed was a squad whose second and third best players were a sophomore and a rookie with no playoff experience. The West was competitive this season, but it was nowhere near as strong as y’all make it seem like it was. The West went 650-580 against the East this season, but Boston went 23-7 against the West in particular. That equates to the Celtics winning 63 games if they were in the West instead of 64. Lol.
I mean had a easy path to the nba finals played the Cavs heat and pacers and didn’t have any competition or challenges but if y’all don’t win the championship with a easy path and road y’all are overrated as hell
