There is an older video about the same robot (atlas) doing "Parkour", which is to say simple jumps and backflips, but it is still, in my opinion, a lot more mindblowing than dance moves. Dance moves are finesse, jumping and flips are dynamism. Atlas now has both. If you add a pair of biomimetic robot hands dexterous enough to its wrists, it can basically do any physical labor that a human can.
Yes, yes. But keep in mind people were afraid when the automobile, airplane, locomotives when each was first introduced to the world. But after several decades people simply got used to seeing these machines. So it's the same deal with robots. It only takes time and patience before people start getting used to seeing robots on a daily basis. That's how progress usually goes under normal circumstances.😅😅

Omg I'm so happy that you mentioned Horizon zero dawn, I think people who create robots or artificial intelligence should play horizon so they can learn to not make robots so intelligent, but i think humanity will not be forever like GAIA said in horizon zero dawn (extinction is inevitable)
These robots dance better than anyone you see in music video clips over the last 20 years. The dancers in those clips are more robotic than the robots.

You guys should check out Robot Sophia created by Hanson technologies in the States. Her creator says these robots will eventually 'awaken' to consciousness just like me and you! Scary!!!🤣
they aren't very smart right now. they can read and environment to a point. but they aren't smart at all. that's what you have to worry more about, if you're worried. but these robots arent being programmed and created by people working on their intelligence. but they did within the last year open up to the internet looking for help from people with the knowledge to help create ai and deep learning for their robots. im not really scared of this though, its just new.
You have no idea what Boston Dynamics Robots can do they are unbelievable advance after Hyundai buyed them their advancement, progression will be much faster than anyone have ever imagined.
