I'm a little bit behind you folks (52) but I wholeheartedly agree- NEVER HAS AND NEVER WILL GET OLD I could listen to that first album every day and never get tired of it Listen to ALL Boston music A LOT never never gets old

That´s exactally what i think of Boston, since i heard them when i was 8 years old i became a Boston fan, and you put the rights word, they still hold a high regard in my music collection today too!

I think U might be missing the point. The fact is, Brad Delp was the VOICE of Boston. If Tom was the Brains, Brad was the Voice. Ok, this guy is better than Tommy DeCastro, but still - He's not Brad! Nuff said...

Two completely different people who both share a similar, and great sounding voices..

John Howard he is a MIT grad and was an engineer for Polaroid. Brad Delp's voice was phenomenal though. This guy does sound like him and that is not the original drummer.

Barry Goudreau did record some of the guitar parts (a few solos and riffs), but yeah, Tom did the majority of it himself.

Believe it or not, the toms are not miked. The snare and kit and overheads are but the toms are triggered from a module. Great hybrid setup that sounds killer

I agree, I have seen both live ( Tommy and Brad) Tommy DeCarlo I think sounds better live then Brad did.
