Maybe I missed something but at 7:29 Mike moved his knight away bevore Hikaru set his one to the position he talked about later. So Mike was right, his knight WAS NOT there when Hikaur positioned his. I'm not really into Chess so sorry if I'm wrong. Mabye someone else can explain?

Notice at 8:20 how Hikaru was going to reach for the queen to take the knight but in less than a second, he calculated the forced mate sequence and ignores every single hanging piece confidently except taking a knight since it is the move that continues the forced mate sequence. That was impressive and plus the forced mate contained two moves that does not check the king!

Boston mike got me into chess I stumbled across coffee chess channel one day and I saw a video of Boston mike playing and thought it was entertaining after that I play chess alll the time on my phone and I will play with anyone now. Pretty cool how this things work now I also watch hikaru because of that.

This shows how easy it is to get tunnel vision and not see the piece. Playing one of the best at anything is just overwhelming for those that don't compete at that level. GMN shows great love of the game to come and play the Coffee Chess group! Maybe when he comes back he can bring Wesley So with him to share what it is like to have fun again.

I feel like Hikaru plays Mike more ruthlessly than he plays the others. Maybe because he likes him and likes to give him a hard time. Or maybe I'm just crazy.
