Nothing like having a project inspected by a pro in his craft, what he did for you most cant pay for that type of knowledge. To just watch him look over the car and go in depth with the shocks and to notice that the two speed was not going to operate right without it running and noticed that it had a bearing issue just ridiculous, great video!

When ever you drill or cut carbon fibre,seal the the cut or drill hole with a small amount of glad fibre resin or some loctite super glue and once it soaks in give it a little more then wet the super glue as it drys harder and stronger ;) you can use super glue on real helicopter blades when they get small chips when using water with it ;) test the super glue loctite on a old peice of fibre glass or carbon fibre,,works great !! Beautiful build !!
BUZZ thank you and thanks for the heads up with that great idea when working with carbon fiber. I wound up using some Gorilla Glue just because that’s what I had next to me . Hopefully it will work and if it don’t? I will replace the chassis with a light weight aluminum one that’s almost the same in weight but stronger less maintenance to use and modify

I need a crankcase shroud by this weekend don't know what to do. My engine came in 9.5hp obr. And did they get rid of those 2 speeds or are they still fighting with them lmao!!! Love it bro happy braaap braaaap

Yes there are many Different types of shocks from on-road Baja shocks to FG shocks to modified stock Baja shocks . Some people make there own Shock towers and some guys mod there stock ones and some guys don’t run shocks at all

Oh by the way. Yeah that "carbon" Baja body? No. But don't send it back. Buy a carbon fiber wrap for it like I did for my DBXL. It will look sick. The one I used is from a company called Vivid. I bought it on Amazon but they have their own Web site also. Good stuff man.
Epic baja's man! Ive just put the kraken arms on mine but im having troubles as the drive cups are to big for the shafts, dont suppose you have heard of this and can suggest which shafts i should be looking for? Thanks dude
Jay Pearce have you tried the bigger all new ALX shafts ? They should fit but I would just use the matching set drive cups and shafts that was designed to work together. Maybe MIPs or Phat Dads? Don’t know ? Hope you find what your looking for and that it works well for you please keep me posted! I know how you feel right now but just keep at it!! 👍💥👊💥🤝🍻🍻

Karrie Bhurgari I’m running 1.000 now but may go to 5,000? I would not go past 10,000 because with the Baja the thinner you go the more locked it’s going to be unlike the Losi and other RCs with those the thicker you go the more locked it will be
Levi Hogge make sure the spring and ball is inside and don’t crush the spring. Our 2 speeds are actually pretty damn good . Just keep adjusting the grub screw 1/4 turn in at a time from flush
The 2 one way bearings are locking the gear solid to the shaft.. i have the same problem with my km 2sp thanks to you i caught this before running it for the first time, i have to contact dan at king motor John do you know the part number tool he used to remove/install the bearings?
richie cee I don’t have a part number for it and it’s hard to get that tool . The only way I know how to get one for my self is to look for one that looks like it then buy it and try it out to see if it works !!
s-k 8mm 3/8 drive socket fits perfect, socket # is 308 now im just waiting for the bearings i did a search for needle bearing tool they all look too big for this bearing.

I am new to all this but exited to say the least. have to be honest it is very intimidating when I saw with my eyes (Beautiful Machine) just need some help and ask you some questions ......hoping you could mentor me in all this Baja buggy Hobby .
Also John on the km 2 speed another thing to watch out for that I caught is the springs they give you to put in shift setting hole with ball ! Look at springs on mine one was way shorter than other I didn't notice it an had the short one in an by time you adjust it it way to tight to shift cause of length of spring
Levi Hogge thanks for heads up ! Try not to over tighten that otherwise you can crush that spring? I still have everything that came extra with my 2 speed and I’m just running running my KM 2 speed the way it came out of box except for what happened to my oneway bearings! It took many try’s to get my 2 speed to shit ! I started out of flush a bit then I started to adjust a 1/4 at a time every time until she started to shift
At the track under load and maximum grip from the prep on the track the shifting will be different and it needs to shit later at the track and sooner on the street depending on what engine your running

100_K _S I bought the king motor so I can use only some parts that I would need off it . I’m Not using the king motor I’m using a Baja that I built from scratch out of Rovan Carbon fiber chassis and lots of other mixed parts from different companies you can go back and see what I used because I show everything. After seeing KM Baja in roller form before I stripped it and after I took it all apart I would definitely get one for my kids to start out in the 5 th scale life or for a first time newbie! I would even be able to buy 2 or 3 of them in one shot because the price on them are great 👍 as well and since I have 3 kids that would help me greatly! I would just upgrade the shocks on the roller KM for off-road use! This is my honest opinion from what I have seen and used with my own hands
