A walk round Bothwell Castle (considered my many to be the finest example of Scotland's castles from the 13th century) and a look at it's history. This is just part 1 of a series of videos looking at Bothwell Castle and looks at the early part of the life of the castle. This will be followed shortly by part 2 which will look at the mid and latter portion of the castles life.
I aim to return and do further videos covering the inside of the castle, but that will need to wait on the castle opening back up to the public following the end of the covid restrictions.
