It was soooo funny when the sheep were just stood there outside the bothy. Totally hilarious and awesome content. Hopefully you slammed in your lamb during the night 😂
This is beautiful. The best way to use a common place shelter. Clean after, leave items. For the next person. Stunning area. Thanks for sharing. Love the sheep❤
Hello Jake & Becky, Great video. If youever head up here to Bonnie Scotland they will be a warm welcome in the glens for you both. Love and light to you both, keep smiling. Paul.
Top content, mate. Bothys are ace, I recently stayed at a bothy in the Brecon Beacons (video on my channel under Crooked Churches and Harsh Mountain Weather). It was right next to a reservoir and had the soothing sound of the stream all night long. It was a tiny bothy and there was already an American dude in there when I arrived. We got along well, shared stories, and chilled.
Beautiful area and lovely video, I love it around there, I'm also an artist and that area has very strong links with the history of Welsh landscape painting, the artists Augustus John and James Dickson Innes stayed there for 3 years (not in the Bothy but nearby) and painted a series of images which made them known as the Welsh Impressionists, there was an excellent documentary about them called 'The Mountain That Had to Be Painted'. The other bigger lake (Llyn) down by the road is also the location of the controversial Tryweryn flooding which is still alluded to today with the painted slogans you'll see in the area saying Cofiwch Dryweryn (Remember Tryweryn) where the residents of a village were forcibly evicted so the valley could be flooded to make the reservoir to supply Liverpool with water.
