@@belalghannam2613 ohh 🤔 that makes more sense then 🤷♂️😂🤣 I think Sebastian did a video comparing the edt, edp, l'eau and dress code versions if im not mistaken.
😍 I need to try this , I love the smell of olives. On holidays in the Mediterranean with my family we'd smell them as the warm summer breeze blew the scent from the trees. Really appreciate you turning me onto this 🙏
Sebastian, I purchased Olivo a few months ago and love it. It is a clean, warm, outdoorsy olive scent to me. You nailed it when you said that it's a good alternative to summer freshies or citruses. I also own Lauro and quadrifoglio and can highly recommend them as well. With your massive collection, I'm happy to know I had one that you had not discovered yet. It's quite enjoyable to share my interest in fragrances by watching your videos. Your passion is evident and greatly appreciated. Like you, I find scents evoke emotions and memories. I'm sure you'll be sporting Olivo this summer and dreaming of days past. Regards, Michael
I love this collection & this one is on my list . I own V & it’s fabulous & would love to hear your take on it soon . I crave olives all the time . Great review !
This olivo thing smells wonderful, thanx for “discovering” it. I tried a few other from the line, they are all really great to me: cipresso (cypress), salvia (sage), Quercia (oak), neroli... I became instantly obsessed😬
Wow! An olive-centric fragrance is really unique. 😎 I had never even heard of one. I absolutely LOVE figs and fig scents. Every day I eat a couple of dried figs, and I also like fig butter, fig cookies, anything fig. I I think figs have a very sensual aroma. Years ago I sought out Philosykos by Diptyque. But I never replaced the bottle when it ran out because the coconut notes do not work well with my chemistry. I also love green, twiggy, earthy fragrances. I have a second bottle of Eau de Lierre by Diptyque, a very green, ivy dominant perfume which is one of my favorite green selections. Great find, Sebastian. Not sure if I would wear an olive creation, but it sounds very unusual. 🌿
Sounds truly unique. I can't wait to smell it. Always letting us know about underrated offerings. Which is why I like your channel over others who are always talking about the same fragrances.
Bottega veneta produces great high quality fashion and classy fragrances , have some in my small collection they are sophisticated up class , Italian vintage style , worth to try “ knot “and “ aromatic essence “, Fascinating description of the gap time in between transition of raining and starting of the rain .....loved it ! Love “guerlain herba fresca “ thanks for introducing this pearl Sir 🙏🏻💐
Hi. Nice to see that you found your favorite and mine too. OLIVE. Yes, Slumberhouse PEAR+OLIVE enjoying it since last few years. Will try X OLIVO. Hope add in my collection. Enjoy !
Very unique idea but I can't find this collection near me. I need to sample this one and Magnolia they sound nice. Thanks Sebastian for another great video.
I find the pricing way too brave, but if you are hunting a specific accord, it is what it is. It's justifiable. The bottle is so-so but the cap and label are absolutely no-no.
Wow I Recently Bought A Bottle Of Bottega Veneta Men's Pour Homme Eau de Toilette .When I Read The Notes I Knew I Had To Give This House A Try, And I'm Glad I Did! Know To See Your Review, And Your Excitement Of This Fragrance, I'm Definitely Going To See If I Can Find A sample. As Always Awesome Review, Thanks.
Interesting, I wouldn’t ever think or know what a olive scent would be like.. good review ! Same with fig frags . I have to get my nose on more ,wider verity of scents that are out there. Thanks for the review !
I never think of olives as fruit - and I do not like em - but I like olive oil soap an I know it's likely not comparable, but my curiosity is surely piqued...nice review!
Thank you, thank you, thank you... So long I've been searching for a video review and now you made it. I love shower gels with olive aroma and I was looking for olive based fragrance and I know this one is it. By the way, Parco Palladiano Collection has some more gems like XII: Quercia, II: Cipresso, XI: Castagno, XIII: Quadrifoglio and I hope you will give them a try and find a tester bottles for a trial run
i was 9 when i came to the states. first time i tried olives i was just grossed out. the reason for that is that where i was born olives are just picked off the tree when they're ripe and you eat them like you wold most fruit. they have a sweet but slightly bitter green flavor. I miss the smell and taste of the tree and fruit so I can't wait to get m nose on this release from BV.
Nice job. I immensely enjoy your videos. No one comes close to both unraveling fragrances and displaying your passion for them. I never even considered olive as a viable fragrance. I looked some up and seen most are very low ranked either in overall scent or durability. There was one that ranked well in both and was wondering if you've come across it: Badr Al Badour by Amouage. Some sites list the olive others don't but in any event have you tried it? Thanks
This is the kind of fragrance that brings a smile to even the most miserable people. When I wore it, people around me seemed to feel in a happy mood. Perhaps it has something to do with how deeply rooted the olive tree has aged in our history over thousands of years...maybe the scent brings about a feeling of something familiar, a nostalgic emotion of which we are all a part of.
This one sounds interesting. Another video idea: Bottega Veneta Pour Homme EDT vs. Extreme EDT vs. Parfum. I have yet to try the Extreme version but have bottles of the other 2 and they are both awesome, budget-friendly designers. Don't bother w/ their Essence Aromatique (boring and extremely light, bordering on undetectable at 2").
olive fan over here 🙌 🙌 i wonder how its smell appears in a fragrance. so curious. it reminds me of when you caught me with green pepper in wicked love by maison martin margiela.
The only olive fragrance I know is ... don't remember the name it's from the crazy guy from Portland. Slumberhouse I'm sure you know him , and his brand. Can you please tell us what happened with Deep Deep in Baltics giveaway?
Awesome I’ll have to try this out. The only other fragrance that makes me think of olives is the opening stages of Xerjoff 40 knots with its briny touch of green.
