Another outstanding list with great suggestions for us to explore. Lovin' you and Dalya's interaction as always, and possibly the best thumbnail ever featured on your channel. Mahalos!
Yeah, Sebastian is right, it's "Bottega Vèneta" (the accent on the first "e") and even "Bosco Sospeso" and "Cartusia" (the last time you pronounced it) it's spot on :D I hope I can order something again soon, now with this pandemic (I live in north Italy) everything's so hard to do. I would like to buy "Tulsivivah" by Miller et Bertaux, one of the nicest green scents I smelled.
Looking forward to your Chypre video Sebastian As for the greens I think I'd love to try the olivo I also like liquorice, laurel, basil.... and cucumber actually 😁
Yes it's true about the pronunciation of Veneta. I was born in Veneto. Bassano del Grappa in the province of Vicenza, and my grandmother worked for Bottega Veneta for a period. Your corrected pronunciation is quite excellent.
Exceptionally fun video today! Many thanks for pointing me toward a scent with tomato leaf notes. I love the smell of fresh tomato leaves--it's intoxicating (OTT I know, but it's true.)
Thank you both for the review. I don't think I ever had any green fragrances but it is worth the price of admission watching y'all work together complimenting each other. My absolute two favorite perfumers together. 🤗
Dear Dalya and Dear Sebastian, thank you for this great videos. You provided a wonderful list. Surely a lot of research and preparation must have been done to make this video. I’m grateful for that. Please stay safe.
The original GREEN WATER from Jacques Fath. Very popular in the late 70s and early 80s. They brought it back in the 90s, but it was not the original scent. You can still get it on line though. Incredible fragrance.
Even though I don't live in California I had to take a look at the menu of the restaurant that Dayla stated and OMG the menu sounds amazing! I'm envious.
Pierre Guillaume’s 9.1 is great. For green fragrances, Aube Pashima is great too. Le Sillage Blanc by Dusita is also a great green fragrance. Bel Respiro by Chanel is also a classic green.
Haha I love both of you guys in this video! It's crazy how even though you didn't agree on some things both of your opinions helped me understand the fragrances as a whole. Awesome video, thank you!
Love your videos! It gives me a channel to focus on. In Bottega Veneta, the emphasis is on the first syllabe like VE'neta. Déjà le printemps --spring already.
can you do a review on Baie 19? I love your Le Labo reviews... Would be nice to hear what you think of the perfume in details... I considered purchasing it when I saw the ad.
We featured that in a vetiver video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iq8hAkRdmcI.html and were trying to not including vetiver in a video on other green notes! :)
Great video-per usual-Sebastian. However, you should introduce your guest at the outset. We don’t all know who she is, even though you do. (And you could also include a link to your guest’s site, IG, whatever in the notes, no?)
Guys, so great list! :-), I have 3 of them, ERAWAN, TOKYO and FOU D’ABSINTHE, and many others on the shopping list. What I would like to add to this list are Amouage Beach Hut (for me it is very green one), Panorama by Olfactive Studio (another one with wasabi) and Fathom V by BeauFort London (another weird one). Great video! Thank you.
I LOVE Deja la Printemps - that and their Horizon are two of my all-time favorite scents. My favorite green scent though is Fath Green Water, now very hard to find.
Love watching how playful you are with each other. I have several fragrances from the list, but even so, there are at least 7 more I want to try. Well done! P.S. Dalya, I have that same shirt. lol
Yeah green scents can be pretty awesome. I have a sample of Beach Hut Man I think it's awesome. Bottega is starting to look like a house i wanna try out
I love Serpentine by CDG. My other favourite greens: Cannabis and Stem by Malin + Goetz, and the original version of Jack (by Richard E Grant) is stand-out unique and delicious smelling.
The greenest of all greens - Miller Harris "Wander Trough the Parks", it smells like walking trough the Amazon rainforest and breathing clean fresh air.
I have one in my Top 20 Fresh Green Fragrances Video from 2018: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e-j2jAcTWWU.html Called Galimard Bambou Trefle. Otherwise it's not a typical note for me. I'll look around though. :)
Orris Forest from Maher Olfactive is my favorite green fragrance. It has an anchor of Orris butter with green/evergreen blended green. Maher Olfactive is worth a review.
Only green fragerance I have is panorama from olfactive studio it was a blind buy and I love it and now I got to check out that nishane fragerance love everything so far from the house .
Green is my top 3 favorite colors, unfortunately on scents not so my type. Hendley Mown is nice 👌🏼, I like it a lot. Edit: I own Chanel no. 19 which is also green scent. Love it ❤️.
Hey,what are the best long lasting fragrance with high sillage for summer (something fresh with example :citrus ,grapefruits)I got tonic by boss and its not very long lasting.
Hendley - Mown is very interesting. i would classify it as green in that it is very mossy and has a strong hay note. Like being out on a farm with a bright sun heating up the soil and green matter. I like it a lot. i suppose it maybe has an animalic note, but maybe that is just the hay that evokes the image of farm animals.
Oh yes I featured in my Top 20 Fresh Green Fragrances video from 2018 here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e-j2jAcTWWU.html I love it and in fact Dalya ended up buying a bottle of it as well! :)
