Description:
This video is about a very quick and tasty tiffin recipe using rice bottle gourd called sorkkai or bottle gourd dosa. Soak the raw rice for an rice and then blend with bottle gourd with ginger and chillies and then add chopped onion, curry leaves and coriander leaves made into a dosa. This batter doesn’t need any fermentation. This is a very tasty simple and instant household recipe which is at the same time very healthy in a way which reduces the salt in our body/ lose weight.
INGREDIENTS:
Bottle gourd - 1 no’s
Raw rice - 2 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 no
Green chillies - 4 no’s
Ginger - 1 1/2 inch size 1 no
Salt - to taste
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Coriander leaves - 2 sprig

I love South Indian food but in North Indian we think only idli, dosa and wadas are only South Indian food. Your channel will help me to know about varieties. Don’t understand the language. But visuals and subtitles are helping to understand.

Superb! First time came across sorakkai dosa! Iyers generally do not eat sorakkai considering it to be non-veg (God knows why), but this one needs to be tried out definitely .. Thanks for such an unique take on bottle gourd 👍🏼
